Happy Tuesday again!
Today is a Flourishes kinda day :) !!! If you are looking for my MMSC106 card pls scroll down one post...thank you! I used a Flourishes image on that one too :) !!! Warning...this is a long post today, so grab a drink and get started!!!
Before we get to my cards, I would like to thank everyone that played in my Blog Candy Giveaway last week!!! It was soooooo fun to read your entries. Some of you were pretty close, but only one guessed Luke's weight right on the spot, his weight is *73 pounds*....he is a big boy !!!! The lucky winner is Kim Howard ~ The Basement Stamper. Kim pls e-mail me at silkeledlow@yahoo.com with your address!!!
Now lets move on to this weeks Timeless Tuesday Challenge ~ FTTC120. The fabulous Cindy Haffner is our hostess and she has a COLOR COMBO waiting for us. The colors she is challenging us to are: *Cranberry, Caramel, Dark Grey and /or Brown*.
Here is my idea....
I had to cheat a little bit...just a tiny bit, since I didn't have *Caramel* I used *Kraft* CS. I also have to tell you, that this card was totally inspired by this weeks Case Study #41. Here is the card we are casing......
My main image is from the gorgeous new May Release called Wedded Bliss. The DP in the background is from the Webster Vellum & Die Cut Collection and the Burgundy DP is from the BasicGrey Indian Summer Collection. The die on the side is from the PTI Edger #2 Collection. I inked the flourished image from the Alleluia Angel Set on the side using the SU Whisper White Craft Ink. Next I embellished my card with some Flourished Pearls, some Kaiser Pearls, some Satin Ribbon, a SU Antique Brad, Cotton Trim and I created some handmade flowers using the MFT Mini Rolled Roses Dies.
******************************************************************************
I really enjoyed my long holiday weekend and I even had some time to make an extra card....This time I used the colors from Mona's beautiful CR84FN30 combo.
Here is my idea.....
The main image on this card is another new favorite of mine the Flourishes CountryCharm Lables. The blue DP in the background is from the Making Memories Poolside & Greenhouse Collection and I also added the BasicGrey Manila Collection. I added the 1" Baja Breeze Ribbon and finished it off with a SU Antique Brad. I distressed the edges and added some *faux stitiching*. At last I embellished my card with a doily, a punched out MS Butterfly, some Cotton Lace, some Prima Flowers and Kaiser Pearls.
Thank you for hanging in there...now it's time to hop on over to ~ Cindy, Maki, Betty, Tammy and our sweet Guest Designer Brenda O'Rear!!!
Have a wonderful week and I'll see ya soon...hugs ~S~
