FTTC26 Got any Juice and CC229 Unwrap it!!!

Happy Tuesday everyone!!!

This is a fun day for me...I get to show you two cards!!! My first one is for the Flourishes Timeless Tuesday and the second one is for the CC229.

Since it is the last Flourishes Tuesday of the month we have a new Guest Designer!!! Please give a warm welcome to Deena Perreault aka *moonrise*!!!

Deana is also our host today and she is challenging us to go *monochromatic* with our cards. Her challenge stipulations are ONE color or shades of that color along with ONE either white or cream cardstock. All supplies and tools are allowed!!! So, let's see what you can create!!!

Here is my take on it....... please click on the photo to see it closer - I had a few technical difficulties making this photo larger :(

Here is another close up.....

I used the beautiful Flourishes Set - Life, Love and Lemons.

The inspiration to make a *long card* came to me after I've seen this gorgeous card from my friend Jackie Pedro. The layout is from the TECC75 Sketch.

Please stop by the Flourishes Blog for all the Samples and on how you can play along!!!!

For close ups please stop by - Betty, Cindy, Deena, Dee and Kimberly's blog!!!

~Supply List~

Stamp Set: Life, Love, Lemons (Flourishes)
Ink: Crushed Curry, Copic Marker - Y35
Cardstock: White, Lemon Tart (PTI)
Design Paper: Bitty Box Basic - Lemon Tart (PTI)

****************************************

Here is my card or the CC229 !!! My friend Betty Wright is hosting this Challenge today and I was soooooooooo thrilled when she asked me if I would like to create a Sample card for it!!! Of course I immediately said *YES*!! Thank you Betty for asking me - you made my day :)!!!

Betty chose these fun and oh so beautiful colors - Apricot Appeal, Pixi Pink and Certainly Celery. I thought these would be wonderful on a flower card.

I couldn't help myself and used my favorite Set from Innovative Stamp Creations called Nature Silhouettes I.

I used my SU Markers and colored straight onto the image and then lightly misted it with water to achieve a *water-colored* look!!! Check out Beate's tutorial over on SCS!!!

Thank you so much for stopping by!!! I hope you'll have a chance to play along with us???
