OCC Challenge - The Holidays are HERE!!!

Happy weekend everyone!!!

Tick tock, tick tock....the clock is ticking!!! It's only 12 days till Christmas Eve!!! Did you get all your shopping done yet??? I'm pretty close...I'll finish up today.....I hope?!?

Well.... if you have some free time....we'd love for you to play along in this weeks OCC Challenge. Jenny is our host and she is challenging us to create a *Holiday themed Christmas or Hanukkah* card or project!!! Maybe this Challenge will help you finish up your last minute gift ideas or cards :) ?!?

I'm still in need of a few Christmas cards and decided to use the fabulous newly released His Gift Set from Our Daily Bread Designs to do so :).

I combined this OCC card with the beautiful MTSC51 Sketch and today's IC210 - SushiPot. I was inspired by the colors of this beautiful pendant!!!

I couldn't help myself but to use Gold Embossing with this fabo poinsettia image....I just love it!!! I found some Gold Design Paper I bought a few years ago....and finally had a chance to match it to this card.

For the left BG CS I used the QuickKutz Diamond and Dots Embossing Folder. I finished the card off with some Gold Pearls and the Gold Sheer Ribbon.

Hope you like it??? Please don't forget to stop by the OCC Blog to see all the Samples from the team and our Guest Designer!!!

********************************************

Here is a card I made just for fun!!!

It's for the beautiful Color Throwdown - CTD#72. The color combo this week is Wild Wasabi, Riding Hood Red, Soft Sky and Pretty in Pink.

I immediately wanted to use my Life Set from Papertrey Ink. The sentiment is also from PTI - Giga Guide Lines.

I started out by scoring the card base. Next I randomly stamped the flower images... then added the Wild Wasabi Ribbon, the punched out MS Butterflies. added the Silver Pearls and the Glitter!!! Voila!!!

Thank you for stopping by today!!!! Have a fabulous, relaxing weekend!!!
