Life has been crazy! Sarah and I got rear ended yesterday....thank goodness we are okay. Unfortunately my poor car is not! All the action sucked a lot of energy out of me...so I decided to relax and craft a card!
I came across the PTI - MAKE IT MONDAY #247 WATERCOLORED CHALLENGE by Melissa and thought I'd give it a try! I'm always a bit hesitant when it come to "watercoloring", but she explained it so perfectly that I gave it a try!
My color inspiration came from the current CURTAIN CALL INSPIRATION - CHARMING challenge.....and I'm totally loving this inspiration photo......

Thank goodness you and Sarah are ok! Scary stuff, I'm sure. I'm glad you were able to relax in the craft room and try some watercoloring. I'm hesitant whenever I watercolor too, but practice makes perfect! I love how this came out!

Silke, I'm so sorry to hear of your accident. Thank the Lord you are OK. Cars can be fixed, a bit harder on us humans! Meanwhile your card is lovely, perfect for both challenges! and I hope you have a wonderful day!

Don't shy away from watercoloring any more, Silke, as your card is simply stunning. All the textures and embellishing add so much to this beauty. So glad you gals are OK after your accident. Cars can easily be replaced even though it's a real hassle. Take care and relax!
