Thistle Garden

Happy Wednesday everyone!!!

This week is IMPRESSION OBSESSION WEEK at Stamper's Dream!!! I have the pleasure of showing you the new Thistle Garden image.  I had fun playing with this image I actually made two different cards!!!

My first card was inspired by this weeks SFYTT Sketch and the colors are from this weeks Color Curtain Act #23 - using Kraft, Pretty in Pink and Black. The image was inked in Memento Black and colored with Copic Markers. I added some *faux stitching* on the edges of the DP. At last I added the Silver Pearls, the Black Satin Ribbon and the Sparkly Flowers.

The second card was designed after the Mojo132 Sketch and the colors are again from the Color Curtain Act#23. The image was again inked in Memento Black and colored with Copic Markers. The second white layer was embossed with the Elegant Bouquet Texture Die. I finished the card off with some Black Checker Ribbon and some Silver Pearls.

Please stop by Tosh, Michelle, Cammie and Amy for more fabulous IO creations!!! If you haven't had a chance to follow along please stop by this post right HERE!!!

Well, are you ready for the next Flourishes Timeless Tuesday - FTTC60 ???  I know you will love this one!!! Our Guest Designer, my sweet and fabulous friend Denise Marzec is hosting today and she has an Inspiration Challenge  waiting for us!!! Feel free to make a card for each ic-photo!!!  We can't wait to see which one you will choose...please make sure to tell us which photo inspired you!!!

I chose this beautiful tray image......not only because I love the checker designs, but it gave me a reason to ink up one of my favorite Flourishes Sets called Strawberries.

Here is my take on it................

I inked the image with Memento Black and colored it with these Copic Marker Collections  - Buttercup, Sweet PeaPoppy, Holly and Colorless Blender. The sentiment is from the Many Sentiments Set. The Sketch is from my Collection and you can see it right HERE. The Real Red CS was scored in 1/4" intervals.

The border was punched with the MS Flower Punch and I added some Red Hero Arts Gemstones in the center. At last I added the Red Checker Ribbon.

Please stop by Barbara Anders, Betty Wright, Cindy Haffner, Dee Jackson, Denise Marzec and Makiko Jones to see their take on the inspiration photos.

Here is my take on the Sketch........

We are invited to a wedding in April and I thought I go ahead and prepare a card in advance!!! My main inspiration came from this weeks IC225 - Thymes. I chose this Bath Salt Envelope and ran with the beautiful colors...but kept it more on the pink/green side!!!

The flower image is from the SU Ever After Set. The sentiment is from the SU Special Blessing Set.
I inked them both in Memento Black and colored the flowers with these Copic Markers - C1, G24, R85 plus Colorless Blender. The BG was embossed with the SU Perfect Details Texturz Plate Die. The DP on the side is from the SU Bella Rose Collection and the scalloped border was created with the Scalloped Edge Punch. I accessorized the card with Pink Satin Ribbon and Silver Pearls.

Okay guys now it's your turn....I'm looking forward seeing how you use the Sketch!!!

The box was done with the Sizzix Bigz XL Box # 2 Die. I decorated it with the same Black Check Ribbon, Purple Button, Purple Scrap-Floss and Silver Pearls.

Oh before I go I wanted to share something with you.....most of you know that I did a little *House Hunting* on my Texas trip and I would like to share a house that I found and really, really liked.....of course we have to sell our house here in GA first, but at least there are possibilities :)!!! I'm so thrilled, because today is my turn to host the Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge - FTTC58!!! I thought I'd give you a Sketch to play with :) ....actually, I designed two sketches. Are you are feeling the round or the square??? You could be feeling a bit of both and play twice!!! As far as sketches go, you can turn them increase or decrease the sizes a bit, but in the end, it should still look like the sketch. We would love to see what you create with us this week!!!

Here is my card and I used Sketch II........

I used the gorgeous new Lily of Hope Set. If you missed the new Release this past Friday, please make sure to check it out right HERE!!!

The flowers and sentiment were inked in Memento Black and colored with these Copic Marker Collection - Daffodil & Meadow plus the Colorless Blender.

The DP is from the So Saffron Patterns Collection. On the left center I added some embossing with the QuicKutz Stripes Labels Embossing Folder and seperated it with a Black Satin Ribbon. Each panel was raised with Stampin' Dimensionals. I distressed the circle layers and finish it off by adding some Dazzling Diamond Glitter, some piercing on the outerside plus I added the Black Pearls to the sentiment.
