FLLC In this Life.....

Happy TGIF!!!

It's been another busy week. Time surely flies by fast these days....

Today I have a new Flourishes card for you. The Senior Design Team is focusing on the stamps from the retired list....see listing HERE. I chose to show off the sentiment from the Fuchsias in Bloom Set.

My card came together following the Mojo Monday Sketch #256 and The Shabby Tea Room #129.

I started out with the Flourishes Classic White CS and the Spellbinder Blossom Die. The sentiment was inked in Memento Tuxedo Black and cut with the Spellbinder Label Eighteen Die. Next I added some Corrugated Cardboard which I decided to edge & ink distress. The res of my card was embellished with some Yellow Gold Ribbon, the May Arts Fuchsia Ribbon, May Arts Ivory Ribbon,  some Kaiser Pearls and some Flowers.

Please make sure to swing by the rest of the teams beautiful creations -

Stamper's Dream...JustRite and Northwood

Happy Wednesday everyone!!!

Did you all play Betty's awesome CC258 yesterday??? Well... I really loved this color combo and I had to make two more cards :)

For my first card I used the beautiful JustRite image from the Plant a Little Love Borders & Centers. It's back in the Stamper's Dream Store...just in case you've been waiting for it!!!

I inked the flower image in Memento Black and colored it with Copic Markers.

The corners on the bottom of my card were punched with a Corner Rounder. I don't recall what brand the DP is from...I found it in my leftover stash...sorry. I dressed the card up with some Lace Ribbon, some Soft Suede Dotted Ribbon that I flipped around. I added some Silver Pearls on top and some punched out Scallop Trim Borders on the DP edges.

****************************************

My second card was inspired once again by the CAS54 - Wishing for Spring. The layout is from this weeks MMSC41 Sketch.

Easter is only a few weeks away and I thought I'd start working on some of my *Easter* cards. This sweet image is from Northwoods Rubber Stamps called Bunny with Tulips. Isn't it cute???

I inked this image with Memento Black and colored it with Copic Markers.

The image was layered onto another White CS and I pierced right around it. My BG colors are So Saffron and the Green DP is from the KaiserCraft called Lilac Avenue Collection. The card was dressed up with some Ribbon, some Small and Large Silver Pearls.

Hope you like my *Spring* cards :) !?!

Have a wonderful day and I'll see ya soon!!!

CBC82 For All You Do, CC252 Treemendous

Happy Wednesday everyone!!!

I have two cards to share with you today!!!

First up -  my sweet blogging friend Robin Kirkpatrick invited me to be a Guest Designer for today's Belli Challenge - CBC82. Thank you Robin for inviting me!!!

The Challenge is all about adding *Glitter and Rhinestones* to your card or project...how could I have said no to this awesome Challenge - right?!?

Here is my take on it......

I couldn't help myself but to use the awesome SU Set - For All You Do again :).  If you missed the cards I've made with  this Set then click HERE and HERE.

The colors were inspired by a color combo from the SU Catalog - Real Red, Crushed Curry and Basic Gray. Aren't they fun together???

I added some Dazzling Diamond Glitter and Silver Pearls to the flower petals and the embossed
butterfly. Hope you like it???

Please make sure to check the creative Belli Challenge Design Team - AnneCeal, ChrisDebbie, FernHolly, JennyJoan, Robin and Steph.

Hope you all join us in playing this fun Challenge?!? Have fun!!!

*****************************************

My second card was created  for yesterday's CC252 - using Bermuda Bay, Certainly Celery, Handsome Hunter.  The dessert option was to add Pink in any other form then using Cardstock!!!

These were some really tough colors, but I really like how they look together!!! Betty just knows how to mix them up!!!

I used a this cute Treemendous Stamp Set from There She Goes.

The tree itself was inked in  Handsome Hunter. The little flowers were inked randomly with the CC colors and  I added some small Silver Pearls in the center. To finish the card off I added the Melon Mambo Ribbon with a White Button and Pink Scrap Floss. Voila!!!

Hope you get a chance to try these awesome colors yourself!?!?

Have a great day and thank you for stopping by today!!!

FS151 Casing Stef, CC251 Thank You

Happy Wednesday everyone!!!

I have two cards to share with you today!!! My first card was for this weeks FS151 - SmilynStef. Not only do I enjoy Stef hosting the Inspiration Challenges each Saturday, but I really enjoy her clever and artistic stampin' style!!!

Not to long ago she made this beautiful card and I had to case it!!!

Here are the changes I made - different layout, I added a different sentiment, at last I added some butterflies and ribbon.

The *Agapanthus Cluster* image is an older Stampendous stamp. I think I bought it at Hobby Lobby!!! The sentiment is from the A Little Birthday Cheer Set from Stampin' Up.

Hope you like it???

******************************************

Next is my card for this weeks CC251 - using Barely Banana, Dusty Durango and Basic Gray.

WOW - what a color combo...I'm in love!!! Who would have known that this combo works sooooo great together...make sure to try it!!!

I finally had a chance to ink up some of my new Stampin' Up Stamps I've bought a few months ago :)!!! I know what a shame...my poor neglected stamps - LOL!!! Now that I have less commitments I hope I get to use some more of my SU stamps :) !!!

I used the beautiful *For All You Do* Set. The layout is from this weeks Sweet Sunday Sketch - SSSC50.

I started out by scoring my card base. Next I added the punched out border and the Urban Oasis DP. I finished it up with the Dusty Durango Ribbon.

The flowers were inked in the CC colors and I cut them out leaving a small white card base. After cutting them out I raised them with Stampin' Dimensionals. At last I inked the sentiment and added another small flower.

Thank you so much for stopping by!!! Make sure to come back tomorrow for a new sweet Valentines card :) !!!

Have a great day!!!

Flourishes Timeless Tuesday - FTTC45 incl. CC248 & SSHP10!!!

Happy Tuesday friend!!!

It is time for Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge - FTTC45 !!! This week Cindy is our challenge host and she is challenging us to create *Gate Fold Cards*- wahoooo - love it!!!

Here are a couple of links to help you get started from SCS Gate Fold 1 and Gate Fold 2. Gate Fold cards are great year round, but something about opening a card from two sides this time of year gives a more regal, gift-like presentation and you already know how much I love them :)!!!

We can't wait to see what your creations!!!

Okay - I let you in on a little secret....silly old me......I didn't read the challenge post right the other day. I read *Fold Cards* and not *GATE Fold Cards*...so I assumed I could do any kind of fold card.....until I realized that it was suppose to be a *GATE* card - yikes!!! So I have two cards to share with you :) !!!

First I'm showing you my *Gate Fold Card*......

I know, I know I used the Winter Bouquet again.....I just can't help myself it called my inky little fingers and I think it's soooooo gorgeous!!! But I must say in my own defense....... I tried really hard not to use it....and as you can see down below I used a different Set on my what supposed to be my first card !!!!

The colors I uses on both cards are River Rock, Purely Pomegranate and White. The images were inked in Memento Black and colored with various Copic Markers (listed down below in the Supply List). At last I bedazzle both cards with lost of Glitter.and Gold Pearls.

I also decorated the inside of my cards...make sure to click on the smaller photos!!!

Here is my *Joy Fold Card*....

I used the gorgeous Christmas Wreath Set.

I followed Beate's tutorial over on SCS. My card size is a bit bigger...I cut it to 5 1/2" by 8 ". Using the longer side I scored it at 5 1/2". The Purely Pomegranate CS in the center is 4" x 4". The White CS with image is 3 3/4'' x 3 3/4".

For the extra White CS border and the image CS I used the new Martha Stewart Punch Around the Page Combo......love them!!!

Please make sure to stop by Betty, Cindy, Dee and Maki's blog to check out all their fabulous creations!!!

MTSC40, CC237 Live Your Dream and SC241 Thinking of You

Happy Thursday you all!!!

My goodness this week is flying by....I hardly had any time to stamp. Plus everything I touched today - stampin' wise - was a disaster...I think my mind was somewhere else!!!

Well - actually - we are ripping our carpet out and replacing it with Laminate flooring. We already have it in our Foyer, Formal Dining Room and I have no idea why we did do the Living Room as well??? Anyway - the Flooring Company is coming today and is starting the process....so yesterday and the day before yesterday I was cleaning my house...rearranging....and laundry (which is a never ending story around here).

Anyway -I thought I'd better go ahead and post some cards for ya!!!

The first card is for Mercy's Tuesday's Sketch - MTSC 40. It was also my submission for the CC237 - using Crushed Curry, Basic Black and Rich Razzleberry.

I was using the SU Set - Live Your Dream. The flowers were colored with the SU Markers - Basic Black, Rich Razzleberry and Crushed Curry.

As soon as I was done coloring I *misted* the image with my Misting Bottle and stamped it straight onto my White CS.

The DP is from the Rich Razzleberry Patterns Collection. To decorate the card I added the Polka-Dot CC Ribbon and of course my favorite Silver Pearls.

***************************************

Next I would like to share a card I did a while back for the SC241. Not sure why I have never posted it here ......?!?

I really like how it shows off some of the new SU In-Colors.

The Set I used is from the Hostess Level II - Kind & Caring Thoughts.

I inked these flowers in Rose Red, Bermuda Bay and Soft Suede. The sentiment was inked in Basic Black.

The DP is from the Thoroughly Modern Collection and I added a panel of Bermuda Bay CS.

At last I added the Polka-Dot Soft Suede Ribbon and the Silver Pearls :)

I totally forgot to tell you all that this was my last month on the *There She Goes* Design Team. So this will definitely free up my schedule to use more of my SU stash.....which I have been neglecting for awhile :(....

If you have time swing by the TSG Blog and check out the new Design Team Jessica has announced....she also has a great sale going on!!! Plus the October Sneak Peeks are going on!!!

Have a wonderful day and I hope I get to stamp today :) !?!

Happy Sunday everyone!!!

There is a new Challenge Blog in town and a lot of my blogging and stampin' friends are on this Team - some very familiar faces.......check these talented ladies out right HERE!!!!

The first Challenge this month is a Sketch. I combined this card with the VLVSep02 - creating a card that is smaller than the regular size.

This creation measures 4" x 3 1/2''.

I used the new Icicle Rub-On that is available in the new Holiday Mini Catalog.

The DP is from the Christmas Cocoa Specialty Collection. I decorated the rest of the card with some Red Satin Ribbon and my fav Silver Pearls.

I also decided to decorate the inside of this little card......

This time I used one of the Merry & Bright Rub-On sentiments. It also can be found in the new Mini Catalog. I added a stripe of the leftover Specialty Paper - voila - the inside is done!!!
