FTTC111, CR84FN21 Thank you berry much...

Happy Tuesday everyone!

Hope you all had a nice weekend? Ours was busy and it went by way tooooo fast! I wanted to thank everyone for the kind words and prayers for my supervisors family...I passed them on! Janice's memorial service was beautiful. Her former husband sang *Amazing Grace* and it just melted my heart! He did such a fabulous job. I was truly blessed having the chance to work for her...I wish we could have had more time though :(....., but I know she is in a better place and enjoying herself to the fullest :) !!!

Okay...I got to move on! It's time again for this weeks Flourishes Timeless Tuesday ~ FTTC111. This week my buddy Betty is hosting and she has a fun challenge theme....*use those poorly unloved other images in your stamps sets!* I'm guilty of that one...LOL!!!

Here is my idea.....

I used the yummy and oh so delicious Berry Sweet Set. I usually only grab the *Raspberry* or *Blueberry* image by itself...but today I also added the perfect matching leave image!!! It really adds another fab touch to this sweet Set :) !!! The images were inked in Memento Black and colored with these Copic Markers ~  Fuschia Collection, Green Grass Collection and a Colorless Blender. I wish my camera could have captured the striking green color a little bit better, but oh well...it is what it is!!! The card was finished off with some matching Scarlet Jewel Stitched Ribbon, a matching Button and some fabbo Silver Pearls.

Of course I could not have pulled it all off without the fabulous CR84FN21 color combo...

ODBDSLC54, C4C80 Frame it!!!

Hello my sweet stampin' friends!

Today is my last week hosting the March Crazy 4 Challenges ~ C4C80. A BIG THANK YOU to everyone that played along so far! Here is my idea......

My card today is in memory of my supervisor Janice...today is her Memorial Service...sniff!!! I will give it to her son Matthew. I chose the beautiful Bible Verse John 11:25 and it's from the *I am the Way....* Set. My color theme for this card is Bermuda Bay. The fab flowers are new and they are from Prima. My *frame* was created with the Top Note and an Oval Spellbinder Die. I embellished the rest of my card with some scoring, some matching Ribbon and the Silver Pearls.

FTTC110, CR84FN20 Thank You...and more!!!

Hallo everyone!

Hope you all had a fabulous weekend? We sure did :) !!! We finally had nothing going on and I had a chance to clean my poor neglected home! Then Monday came around and unfortunately it was not a happy day at all...remember I was telling you about my supervisor Janice who was in the need of a heart transplant??? Well, our sweet Janice was taken home on Monday afternoon! Our Savior has lifted all the suffering from her and she can finally rest in peace! As you all can imagine our office is not a fun place to work right now. Janice was spunky, caring and the sweetest lady ever and I will surely miss her!!! If you find it in your heart please pray for her imitate family as they see through this sad time!

With all the resting this weekend I had a chance to stamp a card for today's Flourishes Timeless Tuesday ~ FTTC110!!! Our fabulous Maki is hosting this week and she is challenging us to add some *MASKING* to our cards/project!  HERE is an awesome tutorital by our own super talented Julie Koeber. Can you tell where I got my idea from...LOL??? To be honest with you I haven't tried this technique in a long, long time and I'm glad Julie has created this tutorial for us...thank you Julie!!!

Okay here is my take on it....

My main image is from the sweet Mix-n-Mugs Set. I stamped the images in Memento Black and colored them with these Copic Markers ~ RV00, V01, BV000, V17, BV06, C0, C1, RV000 and YG99. Next I embossed the Plum Pudding CS with the QuicKutz Striped Lable Folder. Next I added the Plum Pudding Ribbon, matching Button, Silver Cord and the Silver Pearls.

My entire card came together with the awesome layout from this weeks SSS100 (without the spin) and the gorgeous colors are from the CR84FN20.

Here is my card.....

My chosen Bible Verse is from Nehemiah 8:10 and you can find it on the Scripture Collection 6 Set. Isn't it just gorgeous??? I couldn't help myself....I had to use the SU Framed Tulips Embossing Folder again :) !!! The rest of my card was embellished with some Purple Hero Arts Gemstones, some Cotton Lace Ribbon, some matching Purple Ribbon and not to forget the fabbo Prima Flowers! Hope you like it?!?

Moving on to this weeks Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge....I'm thrilled to tell you that I'm hosting this weeks FTTC109...yeah!!! If you follow my blog you know I L.O.V.E  butterflies...so my challenge for you is to incorporate *BUTTERFLIES* to your creations!!! Pretty easy right??? Here is my card.....

I used the beautiful Butterflies & Blossoms Set as my main image and the sentiment is from the Humming Along Set. As you can tell I kept my card clean and simple. I added just a few scored lines, my favorite Silver Pearls and the yummy Silk Ribbon!

My color inspiration is from this weeks CR84FN19...psssst...I was really intimidated by these colors, but totally love the outcome! Here are the Copic Markers I used ~ C0, C1, C2, BG000, B00, G14 and Y21 and Colorless Blender.

ODBDSLC52 Happy Anniversary!!!

Hello again!!!

Welcome to Our Daily Bread Designs 3rd Anniversary week! We have lots going on this upcoming week, so make sure to subscribe to the ODBD Blog!!!

Today is another Shining Light Challenge ~ ODBDSLC52 and I hope you will come and play with us? Since we are starting the celebration we are challenging you to create either a card using Pearls or Leather . This can be real leather, suede, faux leather or faux suede ~ it can be the technique for these as well. For Pearls ~ you can use any kind of pearls, pearl paper, pearl glimmermist, etc. Have fun creating!!!

Here is my idea....

As you can tell I opted for the *Pearls*...yeah! I do love the *Leather* look, but unfortunately didn't have enough time to play with it...!!! Anyway, I used a few different ODBD Sets ~ Fleur de Lis Borders, The Lord has Risen and the fabbo Tag Die  on my card. The DP in the background is from the Webster Life's Portrait Collection. The rest of my card was embellished with some matching Flowers, Pearls, White Satin Ribbon, matching Button and some Silver Cord.

C4C78 Hello...I'm back!!!

Happy TGIF and weekend everyone!

I'm so happy to be home again and to be sleeping in my own bed...yeah! The conference went smooth and it was so nice to meet all the people I have been corresponding with over the last few months. It's always nice putting a face to a name...right???

I'm hosting my second week over at the Crazy 4 Challenge ~ C4C78 blog. This week I'm challenging you all to create a *TREE* card in honor of next weeks International Earth Day!

Here is my idea.....

I was in the mood of creating a *Spring* card....I used one of my all time favorite tree images from Stampin' Up called Branch Out. The fun part about this Set is that you can pretty much use any kind of color combo :) and you can create any season that you like!!! For my card today I chose the ink colors Regal Rose, Pretty in Pink, Daffodil Delight and Early Espresso. The DP is also from SU and it's from the Pattern Print Collection. Next I matched it up with some Pink Satin Ribbon, Button, Scrap Floss and of course my favorite Silver Pearls.

Before I forget the awesome layout is from March SFYTT Sketch.

Gosh...time is flying by...it's March already! Yesterday we celebrated Sarah's 13th birthday! My *baby* is officially a teenager...HELP!!! I must admit it's frickin' me out...LOL! Before I know it she is asking for a driver's permit and so on....!!! But I also must admit that I have been very blessed with her!!! She is smart, beautiful and most of all she looks like me... :), she is a really good girl !!! Ha,ha,ha just had to throw that one in...giggle!!!

We have a really fun Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge ~ FTTC107 going on. Dee is hour host this week and she is challenging all of us to create an *IRISH* card/project or a card/project that has *GREEN* as the main color!!! So show us what you got and join us!!!

Here is my idea.......

I was lucky enough...I just received the Flourishes *Irish Blessing* Set in the mail and of course I had to use it for today's card!!!

My color inspiration for this card came from this weeks CR84FN17 Color Combo. My main green color is from the SU Pear Pizzazz Collection. The background was embossed with the SU Square Lattice Folder. I added some SU Pear Pizzazz Pattern Print DP. The main image was inked in Memento Black and colored with Copic Markers ~ YG11, G12,G21, G24, R0000, R00 and R23. To finish it all off I added some piercing, Glitter, Satin Ribbon, Button, Silver Pearls and some matching Scrapper's Floss.
