FTTC99, FS204 Happy Birthday...and more!!!

Aloha stampin' friends!!!

I can't believe I have to head back to work today...sniff!!! I really enjoyed staying home with my girls and hubby! Oh well, I guess I have to suck it up...LOL!!! The last few days I was trying to get my house back into order and also tried to stamp for some upcoming challenges.

One of the cards I made is for today's Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge ~ FTTC99. Barbara is our host this week and she is challenging us to use *FLOWERS* on our cards!!! In the mist of all the cold temps and snowy conditions in many parts of the world, we are going to brighten and warm things up a bit with some flowers! Just add any kind any style of flowers to your card or projects this week! Looking forward to your ideas!

My inspiration for today's card came from Mona's CR84FN9 Color Challenge and from this weeks Featured Stamper #204 ....my sweet blogging friend Marisa. We both go back a few years now...we actually met over on Splitcoaststampers and I'm so thrilled that she was chosen to be showcased this week! I decided to case this beautiful card from her gallery. I changed the Border Punch, the Colors and used a different Stamp Set. 

The inspiration picture immediately made me go for the beautiful Flourishes Spring Bouquet Set. The image was inked in Memento Black and colored with these Copic Markers ~ Y15, Y08, YR12, YR18, G14, GY63, R0000, R00, R85,  RV23, V12 and Colorless Blender. The DP is from the SU So Saffron Collection. I added a punched out Flower Border on the side using a Martha Stewart Punch. I embellished my card with some Silver Pearls, some matching So Saffron Ribbon, PTI Botton, some Silver Beaded Cord and Dazzling Diamond Glitter. I finished my card with the sentiment from the Flourishes Tag Lines Set.

Curtain Call Act 63 Bless this Nest

Happy New Year again!!!

Hope you all had a good start today!!! Did you make any fun New Years Resolutions??? My Resolution is to take good care of myself, since I don't get any younger *wink* and trying new things!!! Pushing myself out of my comfort zone is another thing I'm trying this year, since I'm so stuck in my ways!!!  Not sure if that is a good thing or not...LOL!?!

Today, we are showing you the new Curtain Call Act 63 colors. I hope you like them as much as I do and play along with us!!!

Here is my playful idea.....!!! My inspiration came from the Moxie Fab World Trigger Tuesday Challenge ~ Strickly Stripes.

I used the super cute PTI Set called Bird Watching. Definitely one of my favorite PTI Stamps :) !!! The image was inked in Memento Rich Cocoa and colors with Copic Markers. I also used a Blender Pen for the *grass* using the Always Artichoke Ink with it. I also had to opted for SU Dusty Durango instead of the SU Cajun Gaze. Kinda the same anyway :) !!! So the DP in the background is from the SU Dusty Durango Prints Collection and the matching Satin Ribbon is from the PTI Terracotta Tile Collection. The clouds were done with the DP from the SU Bashful Blue Prints Collection and the PTI Cloud 1 & 2 Dies. I also added a border of the PTI Medium Scalloped Border and topped it off with some Silver Pearls.
