Flourishes Friday Favorites....

Happy TGIF!

I have a new Flourishes Friday Favorites card for you! The Senior Design Team is going to start a new feature that we plan to do every so often.....it's a day when we can all show off a few of our favorites! Whether it be a favorite Set, a favorite layout, color etc. The sky is the limit!!!

Here is my idea.....

For this card I used the beautiful A Season of Thanks Set and the sentiment from the Autumn Blossom Set. The images were inked in Memento Tuxedo Black and colored with these Copic Markers ~ YR00, YR02, YR04, YR07, YR12, YR24, E000, E25, E27, Y38, G21, G85, G94 and Colorless Blender. My card base is Flourishes Classic White CS and I ink distressed it with the Ranger Antique Linen Distress Ink. The DP in the background is from the My Mind's Eye Dolled Up Collection. Next I added the Linen Burlap, the May Arts Iridescent Ribbon, some Gold Metal String with a Wooden Button and some Prima Smoky Crystals.

ODBD NOVEMBER RELEASE BLOG HOP!!!!

WOW..these past few days have been unbelievable as we have seen the crazy Hurricane Sandy unfold on the East Coast! My thoughts and prayers are with all of you who have been effected and suffer from this crazy weather disaster. It's weird how we take life for granted until we see the mass destruction and devastation of others. I definitely count my blessings everyday!

I have the pleasure of showing off the super sweet and oh so beautiful The Babe Set. I keep the focus of my card to the sweet image and simply just stamped it in Memento Tuxedo Black. The DP on the side is from the My Mind's Eye Lost & Found Christmas Collection and I also added a Scalloped Border along the DP. I tied it off with some Ribbon, a Button, some Silver String, Silver Pearls and not to forget the Doily behind the main image.
