FTTC95 Rejoice and some Blog Candy!!!

Happy Tuesday!!!

I have so much to tell you...!!! First of all I'm feeling so much better...thank you for wishing me well!!!  Second, most of you know that my girls and I love Volleyball. I've been meaning to tell you that our GSU Women Volleyball Team won the SoCon Championship...I know how cool is that??? We have not won in 6 years...and this is such an honor!!! Now we are moving on to the NCAA Tournaments where we play the really big Universities! I'm so thrilled and our first game will be on December 3rd against Florida State. If I get the day off I'll be traveling to Gainsville for the weekend and we'll be cheering on our team!!! Keep your fingers crossed that we'll make it at least a few rounds and what the heck maybe we'll be kickin' butt till the end...LOL!!! Third, stay tuned for some blog candy !!!

Anyway, it is time for Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge  ~ FTTC95!!! I can't believe it, but it is the last Tuesday of the month and that means we have a challenge host!!! The fabulous Mona Pendleton is joining us today and she is challenging us to add *DOILIES* to your creations! You can use store bought doilies or create your own with punches or die cuts!!! Have fun crafting!!!

My card was combined with this weeks Waltzingmouse Sketch #25 ...and the Inspiration Photo from 4 Crafty Chicks Challenge #13.

The beautiful image is from the beautiful Alleluia Angel Set!!! The angel itself was inked in Riding Hood Red. My doilie is actually store bought and I sponged it with some SU Silver Shimmer Paint. The DP in the background is from the SU Deck the Hall Collection. The big Striped Ribbon is also from SU. I added a Beaded Silver Cord and a matching Red Button to it. My corners were adorned with the SU Ticket Corner Punch and I added some of my favorite Silver Pearls to finish off the card!!!

Now to the fun part......I'll be giving away a brand new Alleluia Angel Set as well as some of my favorite Webster Waiting for Santa & Sweet Season Design Paper!!! Not sure what the DP looks like..here are two cards I created with it....Season Greetings and You Are So Special. I promise you will love the paper too :) !!! I will add a few more of my favorite goodies to the package!!! All you have to do is leave me a comment!!! I will pick a winner this upcoming Friday evening!!! Have fun playing along....I will announce the winner with my C4C post!!!

Curtain Call Act 58, Mojo #166 Birthday Girl...

Happy Sunday and happy 1. Advent!!!

I've been under the weather a bit, so I'm keeping this post short...sorry guys!!! Today starts another beautiful Curtain Call Color Combo Act 58.  I combined the colors with this weeks Mojo Monday Sketch #166.

Here is my take on it.....

I used the beautiful SU Because I Care Set. The hydrangea was inked in Memento Black and colored with Copic Markers ~ C2, C3, BV08 and a Colorless Blender. The Cumb Cake CS was embossed with the SU Texture Folder. The scalloped border was created with a Martha Steward Punch. Next I bedazzled the bloom with some Dazzling Diamond Glitter. Then I added the Concord Ribbon, the Antique Brad and the Black Pearls.

Make sure to check out the rest of the team:
