BIC12 Artfully Asian

Today is another great "Be Inspired" Challenge #12. Beate has picked this wonderful framed painting.
It looks so peaceful and inviting.....

I have focused on the beautiful colors from the painting and here is what I have used - Chocolate Chip from the frame, Groovy Guava from the walls and Wild Wasabi from the hanging tree.
I think they look really good together!!!

I didn't have any chair stamp or hanging tree vine.....so the only thing that I even came close with was my unused "Artfully Asian" Set with the beautiful cherry blossom (I think it's cherry - LOL!!!) correct me if I'm wrong - LOL!!!

Anyway, I have also used Beate's WSC#46 for this card - doesn't it work perfectly???

The scalloped edges are from my largest rectangle Nesti and I have trimmed the top and bottom off to make it fit. Then I have layered the Wild Wasabi and Whisper White CS. The sentiment
and the blossom were stamped in Timber Brown Stazon and colored with a Blender Pen using Wild Wasabi and Groovy Guava Ink.

Then I have added some "Mini" Gold Brads and the new Poly Twill Ribbon from SU. The cherry blossom was layered onto Groovy Guava GS and raised with Stampin Dimensionals.

Hope you like it and maybe you'll have some time to play as well???

Don't forget to check the talented ladies from the Be Inspired Team.....you can find them on the side of my blog!!!

Silke, your card looks fantastic! It's funny. I just went for the colors as well, but picked different ones! LOL Although I see both color combos in that painting!
