This super sweet Set called *Swell News* is the perfect addition to your collection for spreading the exciting news that you are pregnant or just to say Congratulations to someone who's expecting!!!
I have base my card on Taylor's TECC21 Sketch. You can see it right here.
The fun DP is from Bo Bunny's *Shabby Princess* Collection. The card base is Very Vanilla and I have layered it with Purely Pomegranate.
The image was stamped on to Watercolor Paper and I have used some matching Inks from SU - Purely Pomegranate, Certainly Celery, So Saffron, River
Rock and Bashful Blue - to color it.
This card measures 5" x 5". I have used Whisper White as my base and layered Real Red and So Saffron on top. Have you noticed I'm using a bit more DP these days - LOL!!!
The Wild Wasabi DP is from the Hostess Set Prints Pack and it was layered half way on the So Saffron CS. To cover the edge I have added the 5/8" Real Red Ribbon from SU.
The image was colored with the matching Inks - So Saffron, Wild Wasabi and Real Red. To finish it all off I have added the small Silver Brads from SU in each corner.
Hope you like it???

Believe it or not but I craved raw potatoes (sprinkled with salt) through all three of my pregnancies. My husband always knew something was up before a positive pregnancy test when I would eat a 5# bag of raw potatoes in a week! The worst part of the pregnancies was odors that would send me bowing before the porcelain throne! Buttered popcorn in the theater, cooking dinner, anything would set me off. I used to cook dinner for the family and then leave the room while they ate. Two hours later I would be able to eat....but only something that didn't have a strong odor to it.
I loved everything about being pregnant, but the best part was the little one that comes at the end...a gift for a lifetime.
I was not one of those that loved being pregnant, and I had a lot of pregnancy problems. However, the best part is that both kids arrived early, I had fast deliveries and both are happy, healthy beautiful girls!
When I was pregnant with my twin boys I craved cheetoes, I still like them. Unfortunately they came ten weeks early, that part was not so fun.
The best part of being pregnant, at least for me, was the feeling of my girls kicking me! Sadly, it seems that recalling the feeling of a baby kicking is like labor pains...you know you felt it but the feeling is hard to recall and never to be repeated once you are done having children. Still, it's the best feeling when it does happen!
Congrats on such an awesome blog!!!
~Lana B~
My husband I shared the first kick of our first child, I rolled over in bed to snuggle and we both felt her kick for the first time...it was without a doubt the best memory of my pregnacy...Rebecca
WOW WOW WOW is right! Congrats on all those hits, you have a great blog and beautiful creations so I am not surprised at all! I have never been pregnant......YET, my husband and I are trying. So, for me, that last pill that I took, had to be the best part. It was such a strange feeling to actually NOT take a pill, since I have been on them for such a long time. I am bookmarking that site and just might have to get the super cute set......hopefully!
my pregnancy was great! (after the first trimester of morning/afternoon/evening sickness!) but almost to the day of my second trimester, i felt fantastic and like i was glowing. and i loved eating "carolina honeys" (the best ribs) from Tony Roma's almost every day for lunch! before and after being pregnant i hardly ever eat ribs! congrats on 100,000 hits! i love checking in on your blog - your designs are beautiful
Oh this will be fun to read the comments of your readers! My pregnancy was pretty unremarkable. I didn't love being pregnant and I didn't hate it. I think that the best part was the anticipation of our first child! I craved and ate doughnuts every day! Scrambled eggs were really good as well! Fortunately, I was just shy of the 200 mark when the nurses weighed me on arrival to give birth! Whew! Thanks for the fun question. It's always nice to reminesce (spelling?) Congrats on your blog milestone! I love to read your posts and see your beautiful work!
Hey Silke!! LOVE your swell news!! Don't include me in your blog candy, I just wanted to tell you my pregnancy story!! I craved pizza - pizza in the morning, pizza in the evening, pizza pizza pizza!! After my children were born, I couldn't stomach it.... LOL! 23 years later, I am just beginning to eat it again!!
Woo Hoo for 100,000!!! When I had my dd I was HUGE! I was eating super size fries and using my pregnancy to well, eat alot :) She was 7 lb 7 oz...big baby since I'm a petite 4'8"...my ds was only 6 lb 9 oz...I ate alot of icecream but didn't gain as much weight as I did with my dd...I cannot imagine my life without my 2 kids..they rock my world.
I loved being pregnant-felt great and loved a new wardrobe! Gained 17 pounds both times-the only time in my life when I didn't gain weight easily! I craved salads with my first pregnancy and chocolate bars with my second-my first eats anything and my second is an extremely picky eater-and he is 19! Awesome goodies. I love your blog-check it daily and CASE often. Thanks for sharing-you are so talented.
Oh what fun blog candy! Thanks for the chance to win it. Let's see...my pregnancies were actually pretty hard. I had a lot of problems, but it was all worth it when my little ones were finally born. The best part, other than being pampered by my DH, was feeling them moving around. Once in a while, if they kicked hard enough, I could even see the shape of a little foot or hand.
Fun question. I felt great with all three of my pregnancies. In fact I really enjoyed being pregnant despite the high blood pressure and gestational diabetes with two of them. I didn't really crave anything special with any of my girls. I think the best part of being pregnant was when you could finally feel the baby moving inside of you.
Wow, that's a lot of traffic! Congratulations! My favorite part of being pregnant was wearing the cute shirts!
First congrats on all the hits, I love your blog and it appears so do many others. Ok so I had a very hard pregancy, but I loved every minute of it (other thatn the worry of the complications). I craved beer batter prawns something I don't normaly eat and homemade milkshakes. Thank you for the chance to win some very yummy candy.
Congrats on all the hits! Your blog is wonderful and I truly enjoy coming here for some refreshing inspiration :)
My pregnancy was wonderful - there wasn't anything that I didn't like about it. I was pregnant in the summer and craved fresh fruit all the time! I would buy 2# of cherries and have eaten 1# of them by the time I got home! LOL! I also loved how much my DH pampered me and the little kicks, hearing the heartbeat, finding out we were having a son...
The best part of my pregnancy was when I felt my daughter's gentle movements inside of me.
It was such a strange but beautiful feeling. I loved that part and felt somewhat 'empty' after I gave birth. That is my best memory.

Congratulations on the success of your blog -- it's well deserved. Love your creations. I had four relatively easy pregnancies, just that two were through the hot and humid summer without A/C. The only thing I craved was cream of wheat cereal, and I'm not usually a hot cereal fan. I absolutely loved being pregnant; I felt so healthy and alive!
OMG...the best thing about being pregnant was how good I felt! I just felt to important and honored to be caring a child! Some of the things I craved were yummy peaches, anything with tomato sauce and peanut butter and chocolate ice cream from baskin robbins! My grandma cracked up at the peach thing because I ate them like they were going out of style!
Congratulations on your milestone! I had 3 uneventful pregnancies. No morning sickness or other complications. The only thing that was a little different was that when I was pregnant with my middle child I was retaining water in the last month. I was out to dinner with my dh and friends and my ankles were super swollen. I lost 5 pounds overnight with the water I was retaining.
Congrats on all your blog hits! That's awesome! I loved being pregnant - I guess that's why I have 5 children! LOL! I always had problems with pre term labor in the last couple of months of all of them, so I really tried hard to savor every moment of it up until that point. What an amazing miracle! My fave part about the last couple was they finally started having really cute maternity clothes! Ha ha!
well, don't enter me in the draw, but I wanted to say that these cards are both fabulous! I love your use of Taylor's sketch and the colours are awesome! Preg story, huh? Well, I've done it five times, I should have something interesting, shouldn't I? Alas, mine were all uneventful, although I could not look at nor eat chicken!
Cute, cuuuuute cards, my friend! Love that Bo Bunny paper...and yes, I *have* noticed you're using some more DP these days! :)
My pregnancy with DD#1 was harder for me..didn't enjoy being pregnant at all and the *pushing* took a whole two hours. I was exhausted. But, DD#1 was an awesome baby, started sleeping through the night right away and was always an easy-going child. Cravings: Watermelon!!
My pregnancy with DD#2 was a breeze..enjoyed being pregnant. Pushing only took 10 minutes and out she came. Once out though, she was a bit of a difficult newborn (okay more than a bit)...colicky and wouldn't sleep on her own. Sweetie now though! Cravings: Steak and Sweet Potatoes!!
Congrats on your hits, I love your creations! The best part of my pregnancy was when it was over. I hated being pregnant, I was sick the whole time, ugh. But I did end up with 2 beautiful kids.
Congrats on your hits! I DO love your blog! The best part of my pregnancy was the delivery! Especially my last one because I had NO pain whatsoever with him. Since I had my daughter (my first child) so quickly, they gave me my epidural for my son BEFORE I had any pain so that I wouldn't miss my window of opportunity! It almost ran out before the end of the delivery but I had just enough to hold out! I was pretty sick the first few months of each one, but can't complain after that!
Well, to be honest, I thought I was pregnant up until yesterday! We weren't expecting it so it was kind of a relief when we found out we weren't. My hubby and I have only been married a year. However, I was also disappointed. We had talked each other into having a baby and were actually starting to look forward to it. Then I started. I was 3 weeks late! I couldn't figure out why the pregnancy tests came back negative. I have never been late. Oh well! We will just have to try again when we are more ready! That's my story so far! Thanks so much for the great blog candy Silke!
Cogratulations on all the hits. I can believe it. I love your blog. I have three boys and my pregnancies were uneventful...thankfully. The best part was having my guys. They are basically grown now and I've enjoyed them so much. Balance was definitely an issue for me. Once, I fell out of bed when I was trying to turn over. Thanks for sharing.
The thing I loved most when I was pregnant, and missed the most after I had my babies, was feeling them move around inside of me. Thinking about it now makes me feel bittersweet... my babies are babies no more.... reminds me of the song "you're gonna miss this"... you really do miss it when it is over and you look back on it!
I cannot share any pregnancy stories as I have no children. But, I can tell you about my own birth. I weighed 9 lbs. and didn't have any hair until I was 1 year old. My mother (4' 10") was the smallest mother in the hospital and she had the largest baby! A big baby though does not turn into a big adult--I'm 5' & 95 lbs.
Thank you for the chance to win such generous candy. And, congratulations on so many blog hits!
Congrats on the hits and thanks for the chance to win some blog candy. I subscribe to your blog so that I'll be sure to check it every day. Something about my pregnancy...I craved milk. I went a gallon, BY MYSELF, every other day!!!
Since I am still desperately trying to have kids, I will tell you about my birth. I was two weeks early, the only one of my siblings that took more then a couple of hours of labor, and I was covered in little black hairs and had big feet. I had to have been an ugly baby, and I stayed sick for pretty much the first six months with everything from a cold to the chicken pox. My mom likes to tell people that if I had been her first child, I would have been her last. How is that for motherly love!!LOL
Congrats, girl! I love your work and you're just such a sweet person. Keep it up and it's always fun to see what you have next.
Congratulations on your milestone! Your work is amazing and I check your blog daily to see what you have created.
I have not had kids but I did work on labour and delivery at the hospital and I will never forget one Dad who was so excited, you could hear him screaming down the hall "she's coming, I can see her head" and then when she finally was delivered, he came out and ran down the halls telling everyone how he just had a girl. It was so cute. One of my favorite memories of working there.
Congratulations on the hits and a huge thank you for th chance to win such awesome stuff!!! Wow!!
Can't complain too much about my pregnancies. My first one was the best as I was the 1% of people who actually get MORE energy when they are pregnant! I was outwalking my friends at 8 months pregnant - gotta love it. Down side is my BP went up quite a bit the last trimester so I had to be careful -- very swollen ankles and bed rest twice a day. I gained 35 pounds but only had about 10 to lose postpartum as I lost about 10 pounds of water after she was born. Plus she was a peanut 5 lbs 13oz.
Second was another story - was a "normal" pregnancy with fatigue and though I also gained 35 I was HUGE as DS weighted 9lbs 4oz and had about 20 pounds to lose postpartum as the extra ten was now fat - took a while to grin that stuff off I tell ya!
My craving during both was mint chocolate chip ice cream and Safeway's BBQ rotisserie chicken. Best part is I have two wonderful, healthy kids that I wouldn't trade for the world :)
Fabulous, awesome cards Silke! The first is my fave...love Purely Pomegranate, and Taylor's fab sketch!
Skip my on the candy draw...just had to pop in while I had a minute.
Great cards and cute stamps! Congrats on the blog hits too!! I'd have to say the best thing with my pregnancies was the little baby kicks...I missed them once the babies were out.....
Great blog candy too!! I hope I win it! ;-)
congrats on your milestone!!!!
the best part of my pregnancy was...i'll give you some background....i had insomnia the entire pregnancy...i think i watched every late night rerun on nick at night at least twice! so every night about 2-3 am my daughter would flip around like a gymnast....i used to look forward to feeling it...it was time for her and me only....i loved it!
Congrats on reaching this great milestone!! Love your blog and seeing your creations! As far as being pregnant, I personally have never been pregnant, but my mom had four children (I'm #3) and only # 4 was born in a real delivery room. That's how quick and easy it was for her. She loved being pregnant and giving birth for her was easy. She would have had more but my dad said 4 was enough!
Congrats on all your hits! Wonderful cards. I had difficulty with all 3 pregnancies and it seems like I was emotional a lot (cried easiy). But the babies were all so precious when they were born and I was breast feeding them.
Super cute cards, as always! Congrats on reaching this new milestone. While I've never been pregnant, my husband and I hope to have a new addition late 2009 :) My mom on the other hand - after she had me she said no more! I guess she had a hard delivery...
Congratulations on your 100K milestone! That is awesome! And what terrific blog candy! My first pregnancy I craved HOT jalepeno hot sauce and chips -- I think my DS came out saying "Ole!" To this day he is not a Mexican food fan, even though all of the rest of us like it! I pretty much slept through the delivery of DD 4.5 years later -- I can't remember any cravings during my second, but I did have a steak dinner right after that the hospital brought! Both were easy preganancies -- I wasn't sick even one day!!
Silke, Congrats! You have the best blog, I love getting lost in your ideas.
Wow, pregnancy...... I always say if our third had been the first, he would be an only child. I had a difficult pregnancy with him and I had to be in and out of the hospital and on bed rest for the last trimester.
With the first two pregnancies, I craved steak like you would not believe! Steak of all things... *LOL*
I had three perfect pregnancies and they all were born one week late. The fourth pregnancy was a doozy that landed me on bed rest for 6 weeks followed by lots of complications. Thank goodness the last one came 9 days early! I guess the best thing about the pregnancies was that I never had morning sickness. What did I crave? Macaroni and cheese of all things!
Great question Silke. It's been fun to read all the comments. The best part of pregnancy, without a doubt, is when that precious baby moves around & kicks in your tummy! I loved that feeling! With my first child I craved cheesburgers. With my second I wanted bananas and tomato soup (not together though). LOL!!
The best part with my first was being able to sleep when I wanted to..........but I loved every part of being pregnant! Elizabeth Glass
Congrats on the hits! I can't wait 'til I get that many! Anywho, i lovce every part of being pregant. In fact I miss it! Each day of growing a new life was a blessing as having them here today.
Congrats on the hits! I check out your blog every day!
During my first preganany I craved peanut butter. During my second I wanted Juicy Juicy all the time (Could this be why my daughter wants it all the time too?). My favorite part was all the movement inside me. It just was wonderous to know there was life inside of me!
congrats on the pregnancy! My 4th (and Last!) pregnancy was the worst! I was a little older, gained about 35 pounds but measured small?? how does that work? anyway, dd was 2 weeks early and over 9 pounds! The best part of that pregnancy was when it was over!!
I was born at 10:30pm on march 31 and the doctor told mom if i was born just after 12 he was going to say it was a few minutes sooner so i wouldnt have to live with being an april fools baby.
No children for me, so no pregnancy stories .... however, thanks for the chance to win.
Congratulations on your 100K hits Silke, I love your blog and always stop here.
The best part of my pregnancy was when Rebecca was born, oh yes!!! She was so cute (still cute but she says she is not a baby anymore)and was a girl!!! everybody told I was expecting a BOY!!! Goodness they were wrong, LOL.
I gained a lot of weight and still having some {sad face inserted}, but I don't look like a balloon anymore, LOL.
My cravings were always Strawberry Ice Cream and Chinese food, oh so yummy.
Thanks for the chance to win Silke!!!
I love all your projects.
God bless
Giovana
Hi Silke! My baby is 19 now, I had him when I was 22. I loved knowing I was creating another human...we women are lucky! My cravings were hotdogs and fried with gravy. I gained 35 lbs of love and lots of stretch marks that I lovingly refer to as "life lines." Thanks for all your inspiration and the candy! :-)
Maureen from Canada
The best part of being pregnant with DS was feeling him kick! I had pretty bad morning sickness, then smooth sailing until I got severe eclampsia a few days before my due date! I craved egg and cheese muffins the first trimester, peanut butter the second, and turkey/swiss sandwiches the third! Luckily, I only gained about 30 lbs and it came off easily :) thanks for sharing - your work is truly inspirational.
Babies are such a blessing! I not only had cravings, but also aversions...with my first, I craved twinkies...with my second, I had an aversion to pizza (usually my favorite)...and with my third, I had an aversion to coffee (again, a usual favorite of mine.)
I constantly snuck to Baskin Robbins and got a double chocolate hot fudge sundae....like 3 times a week! At McDonald's, I would get their chocolate milkshakes and dip my french fries in them! (and I only gained 78 pounds!! haha - that took years to lose!)

I have not been blessed with a child yet and the only thing that I know about my arrival was that I was 2 weeks early. Congrats on the blog hits!

I love being pregnant, and miss it already...My 3rd child is just 2.5 months old. I know the actual labor and delivery part isn't most people's favorite part of pregnancy...and it's not really mine, either...but I have to share that I have given birth 3 times in less than 11.5 hours total! I am blessed with rapid, easy deliveries! Congrats on your blog accomplishment!!! :)
Pregnancy was a long time ago for me, but I really loved being pregnant. I craved waffles with peanut butter and maple syrup. My Dr. kept telling me to quit eating them because of my weight gain - until he diagnosed that I was carrying twins in my seventh month!
No pregnancies, and I was too young to remember my arrival lol ;)
Congrats on your blog hits! Love your style and your blog! Thank you for blessing us with your inspiration and talent!
My favorite part of my pregnancies was the 2nd trimester... I didn't have morning sickness any more, I had the ultrasounds which is relieving to know the babies were healthy, I felt them move for the first time and I wasn't so big that I was uncomfortable. Actually, my favorite part was knowing that God was blessing us with a new life... it truly is a miracle!
My pregnancy was HUGE, as in . . . I was enormous. I had the absolute worst craving for linguini and clam sauce. Waaaay back-in-the-day, trying to find a restaurant in Lubbock, Texas that served up clams was my husbands biggest challenge.
I carried 3 babies - tho, not at once. I think that the best part of being pregnant was the stuff that was done for you by complete strangers. Such as, doors being opened, chairs pulled out, elevator doors held, etc. While out to dinner with some other moms, I was even given a few free (non-alcoholic) drinks - probably due to the "pregnancy glow"?
I love your blog!
Congrats on all the hits! I love coming to your blog and seeing your latest creations. My two pregnancies were uneventful. I was fortunate enough not to expierence morning sickness and the one craving I seemed to have the most was for Chocolate, but then I still crave that and my youngest is 18! Thanks for the chance to win. jmniffer
This takes me back almost 20 years...the best part was the dreams of a life with a baby to raise...now I'm a mil!
I hope I still have a chance at this sweet blog candy even though I haven't been pregnant. I do love and work with kids, am passionate about each and every child getting the best start in life and I have tons and tons of diifferent kiddie stories...congratulations on all the hits!
I ate anything and everything I could when I was pregnat both times. Of course I was sick for the first 4 months and didn't anything at all. So I made up for it later. Cynthia
No pregnancy of my own, but when I was born, my Dad was in the hospital with appendicitis. All three of us were released the same day.
Congratulations on all the hits to your blog. It's one of my favorites! Thanks for a chance at winning some awesome blog candy.
Hi Silke,
I love your blog. I check it everyday to see what new creations you have come up with.
I loved being pregnant and I am loving it again (13 weeks). My fav thing the first time around was feeling the baby kick and move inside of me.
Cheryl K.
I loved the kicks!
Jenn
My husband and I couldn't have our own, so we adopted two boys with Down syndrome. Both have twin brothers that were kept by their birth parents because they didn't have Down syndrome. They are precious boys but it was stressfull to go through the adoption process. Ruth
Love visiting your site. I have to say when I was pregnant I felt the best physically I ever felt in my life.
Robbie
Congrats on the hits, wow!
The best part of pregnancy was when it was over! I am one of those who does NOT like being pregnant. However, I am thankful that I had NO problems. No hormone swings, no cravings, only gained 28 lbs, and I still never want to do it again, lol!
I love your blog and all your creations so much so that I check it every day. Your pregnancies sound like mine with the 35# weight gain and taking a spill with each one. I have three grown daughters and the most vivid memory was almost having the third child in the car on the way to the hospital. I was there less than half an hour and she was born. Now my oldest daughter is expecting her fourth child in October.
Hey Silke, I love checking your creations out==you have your own unique beautiful style! Congrats on your 100,000 hits!
My mom was an astrologer and "predicted" that I would have a boy. We wanted a girl. The best part of my pregnancy was when the doctor announced that I had just delivered a girl! I love my mom, but I love that fact that she was wrong even more!!
LeAnne
For me, the best part of pregnancy is easy justification of lots of naps! The worst part...I get as big as a house! Great cards Silke!
Thanks for your great site. The best part of my two pregnancy's were the anticipation. Just knowing that something great was going to be happening. I was really sick with both babies but loved scrambled eggs and really like blizzards from DQ. All was worth it for my Jared and Sophie.
Hi, I love your blog, you are so creative! All four of my pregnancies with my boys were mostly enjoyable, even with the high blood pressure, and swelling. What I remember the most though, is with my second son, who was posterior, was when he kicked or stretched, you could see the outline of his feet or elbows, or whatever, right on my stomach! It was so bizarre, but so cool at the same time. I gained about 30 pounds with each pregnancy, pretty average.
Jana
My pregnancies were great, no illness, a little fatigue. But the best part (both times) were the 2 hour labours! Not gonna complain about that.
Congrats on your milestone hits, Silke! You AND your blog are just awesome! You inspire me daily!!!!
I've always been thick around the waist, and very self-conscious of it. One of the best things about being pregnant is I didn't have to worry about "sucking it in" for nine months ... twice! LOL!
My favorite part was the anticipation and picking out cute little outfits. It was so sweet to see everything arranged just so while waiting for our little bundle to get here!
You want me to remember WHAT? I turn 70 this year I can't remember yesterday. First three month sick, middle three fine, last three months ugh, big, bigger, and biggest. Knew that # three was the end when every day for the last three months I knew he was going to hatch. All babes weighed 9-10 pounds.
I've not had children, but my Mom had false labor a few times with me. Finally, when I was ready, the hospital didn't believer her, and I was born in the hallway, delivered by two orderlies!
Oh, and my Dad broke a chair in the waiting room waiting for me. Then he propped the legs back up so it didn't look broken and warned everyone else not to sit on it.
LOL!
The best part about my pregnancies was the actual labor and delivery. Giving birth was the best part because I am not a graceful preganant person but it was surprisingly easy for me to push those 9pounders out!!
Thanks for the op to win some really yummy blog candy!!

Congratulations!
I don't have any kids yet, but apparently I was very difficult when my mom gave birth to me. She went into labor in the early evening on March 20th and I wasn't born until just after midnight on the 22nd. I guess I was face up instead of face down (or maybe the other way...I was the opposite of what you should be) and they couldn't get me to flip for a long time. However, I made up for it by sleeping through the whole night my first night home from the hospital...although by morning, she thought I was dead because I slept so long :)
Hi!
I love to get your page in my e-mail. You have such beautiful creative cards, but anyway, pregnacy---I loved it. I too, thank God for the 5 blessings he gave me, they now are the best part of my life. I think the energy I had was the best part (and the fudge bars):0) . I felt wonder. Great site!
The best thing was that I only gained 10 lbs. the first baby and 16 lbs. the second. I had a very easy time with both.
I love all the great things you are offering for your blog candy. Thanks for a chance to win!
I loved being pregnant! I have two beautiful girls and I absolutely loved every minute of both pregnancies. Thanks for your wonderful blog!
congrats on your blog. you have the most beautiful cards. I would have to say besides gaing 50lbs with my pregnancies would be the excitment knowing that you were going to have this little life to take of.
Congrats on all your hits Silke! I'm going to sit this one out, since I just won, but I wanted to drop you a note to thank you for your amazing blog. All those hits are well deserved!!
I have 4 children...one just graduated yesterday from high school! everything about each of my pregnancies was great except the actual giving birth!
love your blog!

There is so much intriguing mystery about pregnancy - the whole process is breathtaking. Experiencing the first "flutter" of life was a spiritual experience as was the birth. There are no words to describe giving birth to another precious human being...and that is only the beginning of a lifetime of mystery and awe in raising a children and ultimately launching them into adulthood.
Well, I liked being pregnant, but the delivery part I could live without. Not so easy for me. But the result was worth it, so all is good.
Debbie B.
The best part of my pregnancy was no more MENSTRUAL CRAMPS! To be free from that for 9 months was amazing! LOL
Your blog candy is wonderful!
The best part of my 2 pregnancies were that I was expecting healthy babies. Sounds weird, but I had problems, so that I actually wound up with 2 beautiful children is wonderful. I do remember that I had to take it easy after I had contractions at 6 months with my first so I could only work part time and the rest of the afternoon I'd lay on a float in my pool! I think that was the last restful summer I had. :) P.S. Great blog candy! Congrats!
Both of my pregnancies were quite different. My first, a girl, was truly acrobatic. I always said that she would be a gymnast and wouldn't you know she loves GYMNASTICS! My second, a boy, hardly moved at all - which worried me - but he is the most cuddly little guy ever. It amazes me how they start to develop into their own even before you actually get to meet them.
Thanks for all the cute things on your blog and congrats on all the hits! - Mandy
What a wonderful blog! Unfortunately,I don't do pregnant well. I lost 2 babies before we had our son, I was sick everyday I was pregnant, I had preterm labor, and difficult deliveries. But I've been blessed with a beautiful son and a beautiful daughter. They are the joy of my life and they were worth everything I went through to bring them here.
Thanks for the chance to win the great blog candy and thanks for all the inspiration here on your blog.
Janet
I could never get pregnant so we decided to adopt. I remember getting the call that we had been chosen by a birth mother. I ran around like a crazy person getting everything ready for our new arrival. My friends and family said that I was nesting and had the glow that pregnant women have.
The best thing for me was bringing my beautiful son home.
Congrats on all the hits! It's not really a big surprise with all the good stuff to look at around here. :)
Hmmm...the best part of being pregnant was just that - being pregnant. I really enjoyed the feeling of being pregnant, even with all the aches and pains that came with it. Although I didn't enjoy the nausea and vomiting, I did like the fact that I lost 25 lbs in the first 3 months of pregnancy with my first child. LOL
I really loved being pregnant! The BEST part was feeling the sweeties move and feeling like I had a secret. I was in graduate school with my first and I totally zoned out whenever she would move. I knew my babies were safe and with me and I treasured that feeling! Thanks for bringing back wonderful memories, Silke!
WOW...WOW...WOW...INDEED!
Congratulations on 100,000!!!
I'm not surprised...I love checking in here every day...and it looks like I'm certainly not alone :)
Thank you for offering a chance to win that "small" token of your appreciation...it's incredible!
I have never been pregnant, but my mom has told me so many stories about her experience with me. Her craving: spaghetti...like every night...poor dad! I was born toward the middle of March, in KY, but it snowed, and snowed, and snowed. The doctor just barely got there in time. Good thing I waited till 12:30 in the morning to make my appearance :) And guess what my favorite dish is...SPAGHETTI!
Congrats on the arrival of 100,000!
I had a great pregnancy with my twins who are now 2 1/2. My favorite part was when they kicked or moved. I could usually tell which one it was, but every now and again I wouldn't know and my husband and I would try and figure out where one was and where the other one was! Seems silly now, but it was so exciting at the time!
I love your blog, I love your creations, and you are such an inspiration!
All the best to you and yours!
I LOVED the feelings of them kicking inside of me!!!Any movement at all was wonderful and I truely miss that part of my pregnancies!!!Thanks for the chance!
Definitely the best part of being pregnant is feeling the baby move & kick in side of you. I absolutely love that part!
Kerry Morgan
congrats on so many hits!!! im a HUGE fan of your work and often refer to your blog when im making cards.
ive only been preggers once (planning on getting knocked up again this fall) and for the most part, had an ok pregnancy. my favorite part was feeling her kick inside as it reaffirmed that i was truly pregnant! its hard before that as you cant feel anything and wonder "yeah sure im pregnant, im just getting fatty for no reason!".
thanks for this opportunity!
100,000 - WOW - I'm impressed. The thing I remember best about being pregnant was after delivery I looked at my legs and I actually had ankles again. My baby boy will be forty next month and I am most proud of him.
I REALLY love your blog - I check it twice a day and missed you so much when you were in Spokane!! :)
Congrats on the many hits!!!
As for pregnancy, the best part for me is that I am able to conceive. I have yet been able to bring a baby to term, but I know all things are in God's plan and enjoy knowing I have three little angels in heaven waiting for me.
Luckily I'm not entirely without children - I have two fabulous, gorgeous stepdaughters, whom I love with all of my heart and my husband and I are exploring the foster-to-adopt program in our area!
I love checking your blog erevy day. Your blog candy is awesome. It would really help with my baby announcements and thank you cards. The best part of my pregnancy has been the excitment in my daughters eyes when she feels the baby kick.
Keep up the good work.
Brandi
The best thing about my last pregnancy was that I was able to turn a gorgeous copper brown color from the sun. My daughter was born on Sept. 19 so I had quite alot of sunshine during the summer months. Now the best part is that 26 years later, she's expecting her first child in September and she is totally glowing!!
Judy
My kids are adopted but the best part of "expecting" them was holding them in my arms for the first time.
I hated being pregnant, but I was "fertile myrtle". I wish I could have donated my ovaries to science or to someone who could use that blessing.
But I craved hotdogs with my first, tacos with my second, and that NASTY runny cheese from Taco bell or queso and chips. Weird. But I sure loved those tacos....
The best thing about my pregnancies were definately feeling the babies move around inside of me. I didn't really crave anything special although I did eat an entire large frozen pizza in one sitting! One strange thing was that I used to eat chicken quite alot but as soon as I got pregnant I was repulsed by chicken. The thought of a big chicken breast sitting on my plate made me gag. And I have never regained my love of chicken. I can eat it without gagging but it's not one of my favorite things anymore. Thanks for the opportunity to win such great stuff! Mary Pickett
The best part of my pregnancies (all six of them!) was in the hospital when they wheeled the little baby bed into my room and turned the lights on above it to warm it up. That was when it became real for the first time that there would be a sweet little person emerging that would be separate from my body! And from the look of things, it would be VERY soon! I always loved that!
I craved icecream and mexican food! We tried for five years to have a baby. When we gave up I got pregnant He will be 22 in a few weeks! God is so good!
I love your Cards, m y Baby boy is now 24 and has a 6weeks Son and my 30year old Daughter is due anyminute
with her second one. My pregancies
were not good, I was sick the whole 8 months, yes I had them both a month early. My premies were 7lbs 15 oz and 7lb 6 oz. As you probably can imagine I did not deliver naturally as I had hoped.
There are songs to this day when I hear them I litterally get nauseus
as I was always worshiping the throne when they played on the radio.
It is a musing now. And was worth it all!!
My pregnancy was so enjoyable. I work up until the day he was delivered! Peanuts made me sick! Even up to a year after the pregnancy I couldn't stand the thought of peanuts. I gained 30 lbs. during the pregnancy. The baby was 7 lbs 15 oz. After the baby came, the smell of the wooden crib made me sick. LOL! He's now 17 years old. Unbelievable!
Sheila in SC
I do not have any kids, but my mom always told me that I was so small after I was born (5 lbs 13 oz) that I had to wear cabbage patch doll clothes! I was born on Christmas Eve 1987. Could you imagine all of the commotion?
I personally don't want children, not yet anyway. I think I can live vicariously through others for quite a while longer!
Thanks for the great blog candy!
scrappin-a-rose.blogspot.com
What fabulous blog candy! I don't have any children yet but my mom has told me all kinds of funny stories about me as a baby. I wasn't the easiest baby for her as I had my nights and days confused plus colic! Apparently, I gave her a hard time but she said I did try to help her when she had my twin sisters two years later. I wanted to hold them even though I probably wasn't big enough quite yet. :)
I am too one of those who enjoyed being pregnant-- I think it is such an honor to be able to bring a life into the world. With all 3 of our children my husband was granted the honor of naming them since I felt like he really missed out not being able to experience the pregnancy like I did . Yes-- I had some bad or difficult times while pregnant -- (flipping my car at 25 wks preg; extreme swelling with all 3; off and on nausea ; and the lovely pushing for 2 1/2 hours just to have a C/S--- But... It is by far is the best thing I have ever experienced in my life. They are truely miracles!!! I have the pleasure of helping to bring new lives into the world each day I work-- I have been a Labor and Delivery Nurse for 15 years--- I am still amazed at the miracle of birth!!
I love your blog-- thanks for all the inspiration!!

I have never had the joy of being pregnant, due to many health problems I was never able to conceive. We tried artificial insimination with no luck either, than with the high costs of that we decided to accept that we weren't going to have any children.
The following year,I was dx with a really bad liver problem which now I am waiting for a liver transplant. So God always knows our destiny, and ours was to not have any children,so now when we can,we spoil nieces and nephews!
I envy all you lucky ladies that have the opportunity to have children,Please love them and nurture them, they are priceless!!!
Hugs,Diane
Thanks for the chance to win !!!
Had to come over here to share and possibly win "Swell News" (after seeing it on Renee's blog). Such a cute set.
I enjoyed all 4 of my pregnancies, but by far the most incredible thing about each one was feeling that tiny new life moving about inside me and dreaming about who they may be.
Praise the Lord for little blessings!
I had two wonderful pregnancies. The first I gained 17 lbs & the second I gained 35 lbs. I think it was the first was a summer baby & the second one was a winter baby. My favorite part was when they would kick and I was the only one knowing it.
Lori in KS
Well, I haven't given birth so no stories there, but my adoption experience reads like a Hollywood feature film! LOL! I don't remember the details of my birth (thank goodness!) just heard the stories of how fast I came (my mother was in labor about 30 minutes).
Thanks for the awesome blog candy! I am loving your blog and have you in my Reader so I don't miss a posting!
My 3rd pregnancy was 29 years ago, so I'll try to remember! Back in the day we were only allowed to gain about 20 lbs and I gained 26 - not too bad by today's standards! I loved the first time I could feel the baby move and to watch my growing belly! Of course the birth was the ultimate!
Sandy Kay
Congratulations on the hits on your blog. Thanks for sharing your talent with us all.
Well the best part of my pregancy was feeling that first kick from my little baby. That for me tied everything together that there was a little wee one inside growing day by day.
Marisa
well, it depends which pregnancy i talk about, but i always loved the first time i knowingly felt the baby move, the ultrasounds to see the babies, the heartbeats, and obviously, finally holding them in my arms and calling them by their names. with the last three, i also lost a ton of weight and looked really good. I did not look pregnant from the front, but once you saw me from the side, you gasped at how big i got. (i seem to have more weight gain issues while nursing, though. :-) )It gets you one way or the other. :-)Have a great day, and thank you for the chance to win...
I have been preggers three times and for each, it was the actual process of birthing I liked best. It was easy peasy for me. I looked horrible, felt horrible and just was out of it while pregnant so always glad when it was over. I always tell people you be pregnant and I will birth for you. not a one has turned me down. its just not possible but people don't like the birthing part i guess.
That is some sweeet blog candy! Congrats on 100,000 hits!
Okay, I craved oreo cookies and milk during my last pregnancy. I would devour an entire pack of oreos and drink a gallon of milk a week thinking I would lose it all when the baby was born......BOY, was I WRONG!!!
Best part, eating what I wanted without feeling guilty about my weight. With each of my 3 pregnancies I would crave a different food and what ever that was the child from that pregnancy hates that food.
Claudia
scfranson@charter.net
Congrats on the hits, that is well-deserved, though! As for my pregnancies, I gained 50 lbs with each, and am almost down to pre-preggers weight after 3 years! I have 4, ages 18, 6, 5, and 3, and after all is said and done, the sleepless nights, stretched skin and heartburn was totally worth it! I am just glad that I have a husband who is a DADDY, not just a father. He is such a great teacher and provider to the kids, even the oldest whom is from my first marriage! Scott makes me a better mom by giving me time off from child-rearing and just like today let me indulge in a four-hour nap!
Thanks for the chance to win the BLOG CANDY! Keep loving the girls; take it from me, facing a college-bound child, I will tell you, time WILL go faster than you can imagine!
Nicole
I loved everything about being pregnant (except the stretch marks!). I didn't have any complications and gained about 30 pounds. My favorite part was seeing my daughter (or the little blob at the time) for the first time on ultrasound - it made it "real" for me. I also enjoyed letting myself indulge in ice cream more often :o)
Total kudos to you on the hits...what an amazing accomplishment! I completely loved being pregnant with both of my boys. I think the best part was the anticipation of the arrival...especially since we didn't know the gender of either beforehand. If I didn't think keeping up with my two boys was enough, I'd do it again!
Congrats on all the hits. I really enjoy your blog. Thanks for a chance to win this awesome blog candy. I had 4 children (years ago) and enjoyed each one. I don't remember any specific cravings. It was exciting feeling them move and wondering if it would be a boy or girl. I was thankful they were all healthy. We didn't have ultrasounds back then.
JoAnn B. scrappingnana@yahoo.com
I, thankfully, had a great pregnancy. The only problem is I used to like microwave popcorn. During my pregnancy the smell of it made me sick. 13 years later I still can't stand the smell of it. :) Thanks for the chance to win! Sandy L
Congratulations on your hits!!!
Although both of my pregnancies were difficult, the best part of each pregnancy was feeling my baby moving around. Thank you for the chance to win some awesome candy.
malieta:)
My favorite memory of my pregnancies was waking up in the middle of the night to discover my husband gently poking my stomach and then waiting for our babies to poke him back.
Well, It's been a very long time since I had my three babies - the youngest is 27 years old. It's a miracle how my kids keep getting older and I stay so young!
The first kick was always very special for me, but to be perfectly honest, I hated the pregnancy thing. I was always terribly nauseous and got colds/coughs that I couldn't take anything for. When you're bad for gagging and you start coughing so hard you can't catch your breath and nauseous - well, let's just say I really looked forward to the contractions that meant the baby was coming!
The best part of my pregnancies was that I felt better and more energetic than when I wasn't pregnant. I didn't suffer from morning sickness so I was very lucky.
Both my pregnancies were great. I loved it! I always had problems afterwards. I would get a really bad cold and then it would turn into something worst. So I always had to take some kind of prescripition. Thanks for a chance.
Hee,hee..how much fun to remember without the weight gain. I was fortunate to lose all of the 35 lb. I gained plus a couple right after the 1st one. I say that because I craved spaghetti with that son. Our second son brought on sandwich cravings...didn't matter the filling as long as it had two slices of bread covering it. Gained 30 lb. with him and lost it after I got over the kidney infection that lingered after. (I think alot depends on heredity)
Just love the punny "Swell News"! Brought a smile to my face instantly. Congrats on your blog hits, you deserve it!
Don't tell anyone, but I really enjoyed being pregnant both times. Probably due to the fact that I delivered three weeks early both times! I craved creamy comfort foods like ice cream and rice pudding, and I completely lost my tolerance for cooked broccoli. 10 years later I still cannot eat it. Thanks for the candy op, and congrats on all your blog hits!
I would have to honestly say that my favorite part of my 3 pregnancies was seeing them in the ultrasound for the first time. But the best part is when you get to meet them face to face :)!! As for cravings for the boys I craved Chocolate Milkshakes, the old fashioned thick and creamy kind that actually tasted like chocolate. For my lil dd I craved hamburgers for one week, then thought they were gross...then no cravings other than that.
Hugs,
catherine

Congrats on all your hits! I have had two easy going pregnancies! I did gain about 50 pounds with each but the deliveries were tough. My children came out healthy and strong so that is all that matters! I have tried several more times to get pregnant with no luck so I will enjoy the two wonderful children God has blessed me with!
My favorite part of pregnancy was the movement I got to feel inside. I actually miss that sometimes; especially right after their birth! I loved taking a hot bath and watching my belly as the baby tried to move out of the hot water! I also missed my belly a bit the first time driving a car without it. . . Didn't know it took such a short time to get used to that protrustion!
What I absolutely loved about being pregnant was the bonding love I felt for my baby already while still carrying them. You could start to tell what type of personality they had by the way they reacted to the things outside. I gained about 25-30 lbs with each one. One of the wierdest things I craved was like a dusty smell, like when you would turn the air conditioner on in the car or like the concrete floor when it got wet. I know really wierd but that's the way it is. LOL Thanks for giving away some really awesome blog candy. You are such a sweetheart.
Hello there...I loved beeing pregnant, I had 3,I gained about 20 pounds in each, my cravings were in one sushi, home made fruit juices and pastries in the last one.I used to hate avocado and fried stuff. My last one was a surprised baby, she's 9 months now and the other 2 are 14 and 12 yrs old. and I'm 44 yrs, so talk about life change, feel happy but really tired!! Love your blog! see ya!...Gina
The best part of being pregnant was getting my wonderful boy at the end. I looked at him for the first time and thought, "Oh! It's you."
Wow - what awesome blog candy! I wanna win!!! Let's see, I loved most of being pregnant. That's when I learned how to eat like a man! I started at 108 lbs (5'1")and put on 55 lbs. at my last visit to Dr. I was huge!! I was ALWAYS hungry. I would have a quart of milk and a box of Enteman's donuts as a snack. Can't do that now! LOL Anyway, thanks for the chance to win!
I am too old to remember the pregant stories...however I do remember...all the joy of having grandchildren. We have a new one coming in October...so I am very excited ...#7 and a boy.
Grandchildren are a real blessing.
so is blog candy!!!
Congrats on hitting the 100,000 mark!
I can honestly tell you that both of my pregnancies were fairly easy going(despite the swelling for me and prematuriy for both of them). My first child was 9 weeks early. I gained 35 pounds with him. My second was 6 weeks early and I gained 40 pounds with him. They bother were and still are very healthy. To make a long story short, I have a defective uterus. It caused me to go into preterm labor! Now that's a story you probably don't hear everyday!
Congratulations on your hits! No wonder - your blog is terrific. I have two teenage sons and I had very easy pregnancies - I just didn't like being pregnant (OK I know I'm weird LOL) I was too anxious about giving birth (labor etc)the first time and the second too anxious to have the baby already (hold him, make sure he was ok, etc)!! I was an "older" expectant mom and eventhough both babies were fine, one always worries!!! Thanks for the opportunity to win all this fabulous candy! Marta
i've been lovin' your sneak peaks this week :)
so, the best thing about pregnancy? i didn't have one! :) actually, i have the bestest step-daughter in the world so i have plenty to be thankful for.
what a WONDERFUL blog candy! WOW - you're really giving things away :) TFS
Yummy blog candy! TFS! The best part of my pregnancy was to see my belly grow... we took pictures and it is so nice to look back and see the changes... and hearing the heartbeat of my child... I never had an ultrasound but we listened to the heartbeat and that is just something special. :o)
Both my pregnancies were completely different. With my son I craved Bananas & Popsicles. I gained only 17 pounds and he weighted 10 lb 4 oz.
Eight years later I had my daughter. I couldn't get enough Grilled Fish & Peanut Butter. Gained 25 lbs and she weighed only 7lb 12 oz.
But the very best part was the moment they were put in my arms. Never had I felt such a strong swell of emotions. It was wonderful.
Thanks for the opportunity for such great Blog Candy!
Congrats to you! 3 pregnancies for me - couldn't have anything with tomatoes with #1 or up it would come! Craved subs with #2 and couldn't eat anything unhealthy with #3 or up it would come. (that was actually a nice thing with #3! - to be able to easily say no to sugar etc.!! ( : Yes, they are work but they are wonderful!! Thank you!
The best thing about my pregnancy was THE END. Seeing my little boy for the first time (very quickly via c-section).
I didn't have many cravings but I did have an aversion to meat and peanut butter for some reason.
Thanks for the chance to win!
I do not have children of my own at this point, BUT my mom had an interesting experience with me! She was 7 months pregnant with 2 little boys when she flew to Germany to join my father who was stationed there. She had me in a regular German hospital (not a base hospital) and still has a sheet in my baby book of how to say things like, "My water broke," in German! Then on top of that, the doctor asked if some med students could observe her labor and delivery because they were not very familiar with lamaze (which she was using). Lastly, she was convinced she would have another boy and didn't believe the doctor when he told her I was a girl. :) It sure has made for fun stories! :)
~Becca
The best part of pregnancy was delivering the sweet little baby at the end. That has to be the best feeling ever. I only gained 25-30 lbs during my 2 pregnancies, which made my doc beg me to gain more. (I thought that was strange!)
The best part of my pregnancy was feeling my girl kick for the first time. I wrote down what I was feeling. and now that my girl is almost 3, I look back and am amazed!
Congrats and I really enjoy your blog!
I loved being pregnant so much that we ended up with 5 beautiful children....and I am very grateful to have them.
Congrats! Love reading your blog...I have 3 sons, all very easy pregnancies, I have always craved chocolate, pregnant or not!! I was 8 months pregnant with son number two and I opened a door over my toes and had to go the emergency room...only when I got there they started wheeling me to delivery and I had to tell them I stubbed my toes...It was funny and embarrassing at the same time.
The best part of my pregnancy--the whole thing! We tried for over four years to start our family, so I cherished every single moment of my pregnancy. I only gained 13 pounds, and I cherished every last one of those pounds! I even cherished my heartburn, and my inability to get comfortable while sleeping! :-)
My "kids" are 18 and 21 yrs now and its hard to remember the best part of the pregnancies but the funniest thing that happened (not funny at the time) was when I took our dog's heartworm pill instead of my vitamin one morning when I was bleary-eyed and not paying attention. The poison control people laughed at me and told me not to worry... Ha!... as soon as the drs office opened I called and they also said no harm done. I can laugh at this now!
When I was pregnant with my first child, my husband and I went to an outdoor Elton John concert. We were laying on a blanket under the stars listening to Elton and BLAM! The first kick!! Ahhhhh... memories...
Congrats on reaching such a huge milestone!
My first pregnancy I craved 2 things. Burger King Whopper Jrs...and ice cream. I don't think I've ever eaten so much of those two things in my life.lol. Thanks so much for the chance to win.
kim3timemom@yahoo dot com
COngrats on so many hits!! I have 2 babies, both completely differnt pregnancy's...With my oldest, I was sick from the moment I conceived till the moment I delivered him, but, remember hearing his heart beat for the first time. That was SUCH a thrill, with my daughter...it was feeling movement that I loved! I craved pickles ad lemons with my son, and with my daughter it was tomatoes and ice cream...not together!! Thanks for the opportunity! Brandi

I happened upon your blog while clicking around, checking out ideas for cards. It was the best click I ever did make!! I'm pretty new to this in depth of card making stuff, but your blog is one I check OFTEN and LOVE to see your ideas. Thanks so much for being such a great inspiration!!
Take care & have a great day!!
Eli : )
I have 4 kids. The first I craved Ketchup, the second yogurt, the third Fruit the 4th chocolate. Guess what all their favorite foods are??? Also I never got mornng sickness so I felt pretty good except when I got light headed, I almost fainted a few times especially with the second. Least favorite time, the last month of the last 2 kids. My hips got so loose that I could barely walk, it probably did not help that I was as big as a WHALE!!! lol.

I will link this on my blog so check it out.
I loved it all, such a special time. If i was 20 years younger, and could have more...I would in a heartbeat.....but now it's time to enjoy those grandbabies!
Its been a very long time since I've been pregnant, but last summer we were waiting the birth of my first grandbaby. My daughter craved Arby's roast beef sandwiches and indulged that craving everyday. When she didn't show up one day for her daily fix...the workers from Arby's showed up at her place of employment to make sure she was ok. lol We were blessed on June 15 with the most beautiful little girl....she is the joy of my life. Meanwhile my daughter now gets sick if you even mention Arby's. Thank you for the great blog!
Sharon K
congratulations , silke for an awesome blog. that is why I chose you to have this award. please visit my blog.
anyway, i was 3 times pregnant and crave for apples, mangoes and the smell of garlic.

The best, best part of being pregnant was feeling that little baby moving inside of me. I just loved the kicks and turns. I'd be thrilled to see my stomach moving. That made all the morning sickness worth it. LOVE YOUR BLOG and YOUR STYLE!!!! Every card you make is a treat for the eyes!!!!
Each of my three pgs was different- but I did have that falling-down thing you spoke about with my third. Scary!!
Thanks for the chance to win your great blog candy
One of my pregnancies, I craved Spam, onion, cheese and lettuce sandwiches---that child was the one who gave us the most challenging times---wonder if it was all of that spam.
Linda Peterson
I like a lot of others did not enjoy being pregnant. I had a relatively easy pregnancy. Felt great, never had morning sickness, however, I had a looooong labor. After 2 full days of contractions, the hospital wouldn't admit me until they were 5 min. apart. Are you kidding me!!! Anyway, it was well worth it. I have a beautiful 2 year old boy now and everything else is history. Congratulations on your blog. I love to visit every day and check out your wonderful creations.
the best thing was feeling them kick and seeing the ultrasound pictures...
I LOVE your blog, it is one of my very favorites!!
Jeanette
Congratulations on your awesome blog and thank you for sharing your art with us and inspiring us! The blog candy looks great - thanks for your generosity! Well the best part of my pregnancy was I only gained about 18-20 pounds and Samantha weighed 9 lbs 9 oz at birth so after having her and with breastfeeding I actually lost weight! It was the easiest way to lose weight I've found so far...hmm maybe I should have another. LOL Clara
Congrats on your 100k!! The best part of the pregnancies for me was when they were over lol! I didn't care much for being pregnant, I just wanted the baby ;). I swear that I lived off of cherry slurpee's throughout most of all three pregnancies.
Congratulations on your milestone! I am not surprised at the traffic as I stop here almost every day! The best part of being pregnant for me was definitely the movement inside. Although for the last six weeks my daughter kept her foot firmly lodged right in my ribcage which made sleeping and well breathing a little difficult. I had a c-section and I still remember the exact moment my doctor took that little foot out - I took my first full breath in weeks! - Trish
Te best thing was the little ones that I got at the end but I also really enjoyed being able to EAT whatever I wanted and never feel guilty!!
Hi! With my first baby I gained 65 lbs...I was on bedrest and ate a lot of ice cream! The second one I only gained 20 lbs, but I still ate a lot of ice cream! Congrats on your mark!
Melissa
The best part of pregnancy was feeling the baby move....especially hiccup! I actually felt kind of sorry for my hubby for he'd never get to experience any of that. It saddened me a bit. Although, I would've given it up for him to have to go thru labor!!! LOL!! My strangest craving with my my third baby was sauerkraut, which is weird as I'd never really cared for it before! Love the blog candy!
Holy cow, how do you get so many readers? That's amazing that I'm leaving close to the 200th comment. Must be the bribery. :)
So, I haven't had any kiddos yet, but I'll tell you about me as a baby. I was the only baby out of 6 children who had dark hair. All the rest were blond. :)
Was doing some blog hopping this morning to see what others have done with their blogs - 100K hits is inspiring! Great job! Great cards too!
I've been pregnant twice. I craved apples and Fruit Loops (dry cereal) which probably explains why I have such loopy kids!
The very best part was the delivery. I am one of those funny ones that doesn't noticably feel the contractions until the very end. Both times I swear the nurses were going to send me home after they saw me (I walked in without assistance, was breathing and talking just fine, no pain)...until they hooked me up to the monitors and discovered I was in labor.
With my girl I went in the morning to the hospital and had her that evening. I was so hungry and they wouldn't feed me! So my dad said if I had the baby before 11 PM he'd go to my favorite Chinese place and pick up some food and bring it to hospital. I celebrated with pork fried rice that night! ;)
While being pregnant is fun, nothing beats the adventures that start AFTER the kids arrive! :D
I LOVED being pregnant! I loved maternity clothes, my big belly, how people helped out the "little mama", etc. It was wonderful! I enjoyed every little kick, roll and hiccup! Thanks for bringing back the memories!
I do not have children of my own yet, but my mom and I always laugh because some of the foods she craved when she was prgnant with me are still some of my favorites!
