Projects with my new Scor-it

Hello again!!!

Here are some projects I created with my new toy - the *Scor-it*.

Halloween is right around the corner and I was trying to come up with a fun little treat box.

I followed the 2-5-7-10 box instructions over on SCS and instead of using my Fiskar Cutter - I used my new *Scor-it*.

The fun Set I used is *Haunting Halloween*.
The colors on my box are Basic Black, Kiwi Kiss, Lovely Lilac and Pumpkin Pie.

The image was stamped onto Whisper White with Basic Black Ink and colored with a Blender Pen using - Basic Gray, Chocolate Chip, Lovely Lilac and Kiwi Kiss.

I finished the box off by punching it with the Scalloped Edge Puncher and layered another Pumpkin Pie CS below. I tied the whole thing together with the new DS Kiwi Kiss Ribbon.

*************
Next I created this card using the new *Beautiful Borders* Set.

I've inked the image in Tangerine Tango and layered it onto a Tangerine Tango CS. Right after I 've pierced the top and bottom of the TT CS - I started distressing the edges with the *Distressing Tool* from the *Cutter Kit*.

Then I added a layer of Wild Wasabi CS - which I scored with two rows on top and bottom. Next I distressed the edges again and added this whole panel to my Whisper White card base.

To dress the card up a bit I've added the fab Tangerine Tango SG Ribbon and three tiny Silver Brads. BTW - did I mention I love this new Set???
********************************************** My third and last project is another card.

I scored the outsides of my base starting at 1/8" and 2/8" - each side two rows - to create a *frame*.

Inside the frame I've added my main image from the new *Eastern Blooms* Set - using Riding Hood Red Ink and Old Olive Marker.

Just in case you've wondered how I've done this..... - here is a little trick I've been using.....after stamping the whole image with RR Ink I used a *Q-Tip* to get the *Red* off the stem and once I've done that I used the OO Marker to create the stem color....voila that's it!!!

Next I've layered the image onto a Old Olive and Riding Hood Red CS. Both panels were raised with Stampin Dimensionals.

I dressed my card up with the Old Olive *Poly-Twill Ribbon* that was featured in the Occasions Brochure and in the center of the flowers I've added some tiny Silver Pearls (Michaels).

Hope you liked all of my projects??? ~TFL~

Awesome!! I love my Scor-It. I have the Pal too but except for when I first bought it, I haven't used it since. It just doesn't score as well and I find that I love doing the math and moving my paper :) I'll keep the Pal just in case but it's Emma's more than mine :) It's easier for her :):)

Wonderful projects. You have been busy. I need to know more about the Scor-It. Similar to the ScorPal? I just got the latter but haven't gotten too fancy yet.

Love how the Tangerine looks with the Wasabi . . . .very striking. Hugs, M
