CC201, CC191 and Verve Holiday Release Sketch

Happy day everyone!!!

Isn't today's SC201 awesome??? I'm still in need of some *Christmas Cards* and I really like how this one turned out - I think we have a winner!!!

This card was very quickly pulled together....I use the Ski Slope DP and some Red Riding Hood and Whisper White CS.

I used two Set's for this card - the image is from the *A Wish for Peace* and the sentiment is from the *Home for Christmas*.

The image was colored with Old Olive and Chocolate Chip Markers. Next I bedazzled the image and myself with lots of Dazzling Diamond Glitter - LOL!!! I finished it off with the gorgeous Chocolate Chip Satin Ribbon - I still wished SU would have brought it back for the holidays - bummer :(.....

I made this card last night using the Verve Holdiay Release Sketch - VSHR1.

Are you as excited as I am to see the new Set's Julee Tilman has planned to show us on Sunday for her November Release Party???

Well - the Verse Divas are awesome and I can't wait to see what they have created!!!

Anyway - for this card I used the gorgeous PTI *Gold CS* my super sweet friend Denise *peanutbee* has mailed me for my birthday!!! I love it - thanks Denise!!!

I added Basic Black CS to make the Gold pop - I think this combo is so elegant looking!!! I added some Medium Black Brads (Making Memories) and Black Satin Ribbon (Walmart).

The Set I used is this years Stampin Up's Ronald McDonald Set - *Say it with Scallops* (pg. 209). If you don't know what to give your girlfriend this year for Christmas - how about this Set??? Not only will your friend love it - it's also supporting a great cause. $2 for each sold Set goes to the Ronald McDonald House Charities!!!

As we all know our friend Laurie Schmidlin is using the RM House right now as her daughter Ali is undergoing some tests!!!! You can follow the thread right here. Please continue keeping Ali and the Schmidlin family in your prayers!!!

I made this card yesterday for the CC191 - Red Riding Hood, Kiwi Kiss and Pretty in Pink.
We were allowed to exchange colors to Ruby Red and Old Olive and I did use these on my card.

I used the retired *Essence of Love* Set and just randomly used my Markers to color it.
Next I bedazzled it with Dazzling Diamond Glitter and added the Striped Red Riding Hood Ribbon.
The sentiment was also inked in Old Olive and I pierced right below it....voila!!!
This card only took me like 15 minutes to make - perfect when you need a quick one!!!
Hope you'll have a wonderful day and I'll see ya soon!!! ~TFL~

Super cards, Silke! I'm going to have to look for them in your SCS gallery so that I can 'favorite' them!

Love the Essence of Love card! I'm not normally a white card kinda girl but this is fabulous. Placing the image in the center and anchoring it with that ribbon is awesome!

Hi Silke: Love these three cards and am glad to see you are still knocking out the holiday cards (me, too . . . but I'm probably behind).

I have both these sketches pulled and plan to get busy. Lovely work. Note: My email updates didn't come for the last few days from My Life. I apologize for the absence.

I'm doing a little catch up on your pretty work :) Hugs,

Mary
