OCC Crazy for Hearts - Casing Vicky Gould, ssnotime72 and IC165

Happy Saturday everyone!!!

*Crazy for Hearts* is today's OCC Challenge theme!!! Swing by the OCC blog to find out all the details!!!

First I would like to show you the card I made in conjuction with this weeks OCC Challenge. My main inspiration came from this past weeks *Featured Stamper Challenge #103*-Vicky Gould!!!

Vicky is a fabulous Stamper and she is so sweet too!!! She always leaves the nicest comments!!!

Her gallery is devine and I found this card to case. I changed the colors, the theme, did some piercing, attached a Hat Pin and added a couple more layers.

I couldn't resist using my yummy PTI *Raspberry Fizz* CS!!! I combined it with Whisper White and Pink Pirouette. The hearts are from the *Best Wishes & More* Set and the sentiment is from the *A Happy Heart* Set.

I started out with the centerpiece...I punched out the Raspberry Fizz scallops with the SU *Scalloped Edge* Punch and then I adhered it to the Pink Pirouette CS. Next I pierced a row on both sides. Then I punched out three *White 1 3/8" Circles* and attached the trimmed *Raspberry Fizz hearts* with Stampin Dimensionals. The circles, the bottom panel and the centerpiece panel were all raised with Stampin Dimensionals. I added a *Raspberry Fizz Ribbon* in between the panels plus added a *Hat Pin with Pearls*. The sentiment was attached with some matching *Scrappers Floss*. At the end I added the Hat Pin.
**************************

Next is my card for the IC165 and ssnotime72.

I was inspired by this *Love Note* and I also used Sharon's Challenge theme *Love is in the Air* for my inspiration!!! Can you tell Valentine is right aroud the corner - LOL?!?

This Set is from *There She Goes* called *Year Round Sentiments*!!!

I used this Sketch that was featured by Julee Tilman a while back and I think it fits this Set perfectly!!! Click here to see another card I made with the same Set for Thanksgiving.

I used so much pink the last few days that I had to use the red writing on the inspiration piece and switch to one of my favorite combos - Black, White and Red Color Combo...love it!!!

First I created the Real Red CS with the *Heart Blocks* Cuttlebug folder. Next I inked the image in Basic Black and the heart in Real Read. I punched the circles with the 1 3/8", 1 1/2" and the Scalloped Circle Punch. I raised the heart and the circles with Stampin Dimensionals. I also added some small Red Rhinestone Brads on the image and the larger ones on the side. Before I attached everything I added this Black Satin Ribbon I bought at Stamper's Dream.

I kinda like how this card turned out - I think I need to make a few more!!!

Can you tell I was on a roll last night..... I made a cute little matching *Pillow Treat Box*.

I used the 3M Multipurpose Transparency paper (Office Max) and cut it with the Sizzix *Pillow Box Die* from SU. The box was adhered with Sticky Strips. Then I dressed the box up with the same elements from the card and filled it with some yummy Jelly Beans.

I hope we inspired you to play along??? Looking forward seeing your creations!!!

On a sad note....Denise is having her last day with us OCC girls.....I know I'll miss her fabulous creations already, but I know she'll play along once in a while!!! See you in blogland my friend!!!

Have a great weekend!!! ~TFL~

I love it all! Question: what did you use to adhere the long side of your acetate pillow box? I tried one the other night using my ATG gun and wasn't too happy with the show-through.

You were on a fabulous roll. I love everything. I was hoping to make one of those acetate pillow boxes . . . how did you manage to hide the adhesive or is the Sticky Strip invisible? Hugs, Mary
