SC218 Birthday Surprise..., CC208 For You....

Happy Wednesday everyone!!!

When I saw the SC218 last night...I thought I'd better not play, because I have soooooo much to do and soooooo little time..LOL!!! Well I slept on it and my creative little brain didn't give me a rest at all...he,he,he. So I got up and started a project that I've been dying to try!!!

I have seen this incredible fabulous purse including the tutorial over on Julie Buhler's Bl
og. OMG - let me tell you she rocks!!! She really inspired me to try it...!!!

Anyway - I'm still trying to be a good girl and use my *older* SU items that I have been collecting over the years...and I came across the Simple Scrappin Kit *Special Delivery Girl*. I really liked the soft CS and DP in this Kit!!!

I used the Textured Apricot Appeal, Groovy Guava and the PTI White CS for this purse and card. The gorgeous Stamp is from *Innovative Stamp Creations* called *Nature Silhouettes I* - if I have not mentioned it - this is my absolute favorite Silhouette Stamp in the whole wide world - LOL!!!!

The only different thing I did than Julie is that I used Scor-It Tape instead of Glue to pull this purse together. The main purse image is scored and I also added some Martha Stewart punched out butterflies. Plus I added some of my fav Silver Brads (Michaels) plus Silver Brads. The Satin Ribbon is matching the Groovy Guava tone and I don't remember where I bought it...sorry!!! Here is a close up look onto the main purse image.
I hope you will have a chance to create one of these wonderful purses yourself?!?

Now I have to go and make some more matching cards.....~TFL~

********************************************

This is my card for the CC208 I made yesterday. Sorry for not posting it earlier I completely ran out of time again......!!!

Anyway - I totally loved this Color Combo - Pink Passion, Chocolate Chip and Kiwi Kiss (opt. Old Olive). I did use Old Olive on my card!!!

For this card I used Taylor's TECC57 Sketch. The gorgeous Silhouette image is from *Innovative Stamp Creations* called *Nature Silhouettes I*. I colored it with the Pink Passion and Old Olive Markers. Then I scored the image in 1/4" lines creating a grid look.

Before I added the image onto the card I adhered the Pink Passion CS according to the Sketch. Next I layered the image onto Chocolate Chip CS and raised it with Stampin Dimensionals. I also had to use the cute little butterflies from the Martha Stewart Punch. I placed some pretty little Chocolate Pearls from Kaiser onto the center. At the end I stamped the sentiment from the *All Holidays* Set in Chocolate Chip Ink and also added some Copper Brads.

Thank you for being so patient and for stopping by!!!
