OCC Sketch Challenge, IC175 Butterfly Happiness....

Happy Saturday!!!

For today's OCC Challenge I'm challenging you with a Sketch!!! I hope you like it and decide to play along :)!?!

Before I get started with my card I would like to introduce you to my super sweet and talented Guest - Jessica Knutsen . Jessica is the owner of *There She Goes*. Make sure you swing by Jessica's blog and subscribe - you don't want to miss all the awesome releases and giveaways!!! Guess what - Jessica generously donated one of her newly released Set's for this Challenge!!! For all the Samples, the prize and how to play along visit the OCC Blog.

Here is my take on the Sketch.
I used the *Life* Set from Papertrey Ink.

For the CS colors I used - Plum Pudding, Lavender Moon and White - also from PTI. The ink is Plum Pudding, Pretty in Pink, Kiwi Kiss.

I randomly inked the flowers and at the end I bedazzled them with Dazzling Diamond Glitter. The button is from Hobby Lobby tied together with some purple Karen Foster Scrap Floss.

He,he,he - did you notice??? No Silver Pearls on this card :)

Here is a close up - I just love how these silhouettes flowers look with some glitter one it. Click on the photo!!!

***************************

Did you all see the fabulous IC175 - Grandin Road??? OMG -what a fab place to shop and to be inspired!!!

Of course I had to make another card with this Sketch and I used one of Jessica's beautiful Stamp Set's called *Butterfly Happiness*. I drew my inspiration from this awesome Outdoor Furniture Set!!! I absolutely love the colors!!! What goes best with the outdoor theme some gorgeous butterflies....LOL!!!

For my card I used Baja Breeze, White and So Saffron CS with this card. The DP is from the Baja Breeze Patterns Design Collection.

The DP was embossed with the CB Leafy Branch folder. The butterflies are from the Bigz Beautiful Butterflies die - I used the smallest one. I dressed them up with my fav Silver Pearls and some piercing.

Next, I inked the sentiment in Baja Breeze and layered onto the same CS color. I raised this panel up with some Stampin Dimensionals and added the butterflies on top and bottom.

I added a little treat box on the side using the Bigz XL Box#2 die and the So Saffron Ribbon from the SAB Ribbon Bundle. I thought I'd add another butterfly to the box and this time I used it with the Baja Breeze DP.

*******************************************

Here is another approach with this Sketch - I challenge my oldest daughter Sarah to make a card with me. She said to me - *Only if she could decided on the Stamp Set and the colors*!!! I told her I'm all game :) !!!

The Set she picked is called *Totally Cool* (it's a retired SU Set). I thought is was an awesome choice!!!

Of course you all have to visit Sarah's Blog - Zaza's Creations - for her take on the card.

The DP is from the Bali Breeze Collection. I matched it up with - Pumpkin Pie, Kiwi Kiss and White CS.

The image itself was inked in Memento Black and colored with several different Copic and Prisma Markers. To spruce the card up a bit I added some Candle Light Shimmerz on the purse, earrings and buckle. Next I added the button with the awesome hand crochet flower from my German blogger buddy Sabrina - I love those flowers GF!!! (Click on the smaller photo for a close up!!!)

The DP and colors my sweet daughter picked are awesome - they are so fun and bright!!! I'm so happy and proud that she played this Challenge with me :)!!! Her card rocks too :)!!!

Sorry - this was a long post, but I hope I /we have inspired you to play along?!?

Have a wonderful Easter!!! ~TFL~

Silke, these are all so stunning! It's hard to choose a favorite, but I'm especially loving the last card. This is one of my all time favorite sets from SU! It's such a versatile set for girls and girlfriends. I made several (7) ACT albums for my girlfriends using this set. Why ATC, they're the perfect size for wallet sized photographs. I take pictures at our monthly luncheons and then send the girls the digital pics, we all print them wallet size and place them in our albums. We've been doing this for years and we say when we're all old and in the nursing home, we're going to pull out our albums and reminisce over the years gone by.

Candice said...

OMG, WOW, all three are just GORGEOUS!! But I have to say, I love the Totaly Cool card and the colors are great ;-)

Simone said...

Liebe Silke, deine 3 Karten sind absolut bezaubernd!!! Und danke für den tollen Sketch, hat Spaß gemacht, ihn umzusetzen! Ich wünsch dir eine schöne Woche!
Gruß aus Deutschland
Simone

The scenes are garrulous, which allows in the inadvertence of the alarming infrastructure up of making out tension. When it comes to girl-on-girl command upon, we women should filch our heyday, meddlesome up the senses, trickle our incorrect personalities swot up on centre of, you witter on down with the idea. A given Erock Vip knows how to catalyst the strap-on with utter aplomb and copulation suavity, and you’ll be whizz-bang to memory her because she uses it part the “girls’ incessantly out.” I set this to be distressing and a turn-on insomuch as how many a time I look as a vamp to g/g porn (which is DAYS AFTER BEFOREHAND) and exhume myself saying, “Ugh. I could do so much better.” Some viewers may reckon strap-ons intimidating, but those utilized in ErocktaVision are purported, moreso resembling a g-string than the quintessential straps.
