Flourishes Timeless Tuesday and ODBD Sketch

Hey you all - how was your weekend???

Tuesday comes by very fast these days....but it's all good because it's Flourishes Timeless Tuesday!!!

This weeks host is Betty Wright. She is challenging us to use *BEADS*. There are all kinds of shapes and sizes as well as materials that beads come in. You can choose from the tiniest microbeads to the largest you can find to add to your card. Halfback beads count, too!!! There are glass beads, plastic beads, wooden beads, clay beads, and paper beads to name a few. So, bead it, girls!!! To view all the Samples plus more info can be found at the Flourishes Blog!!!

I used the beautfiul Flourishes Set - Mixed Greeting. The layout came from Jen del Muro's SFYTT Sketch. My color inspiration came from the IC178 - Faviana Prom Dresses. I love the look of this Prom dress. The yellow and black is so elegant and striking :)!!!

The So Saffron DP is from the Patterns Designer Series Collection.

The flower image was inked in Memento Black Ink and colored with Copic/Prisma Markers - Go7 Nile Green and PM-132 Jasmine. I stamped the vase image onto So Saffron CS using Memento Black again. The vase was raised with Stampin Dimensionals.

The sentiment was also inked in Memento Black and I pierced right below it.

My choice for this Challenge are the Black Halfback Pearls from Kaiser they are available at Flourishes - click HERE to view. The 3/8" Black Satin Ribbon is another awesome product Flourishes has available at their store - click HERE to see it!!!

Hope you'll play along this week - remember you could to win some awesome goodies!!! For your downloads over on SCS please use the *FTTC14* keyword!!!

Here is another card I made with the So Saffron/Basic Black combo.

This is my submission for the Our Daily Bread Designs May Sketch Challenge - more info can be found HERE.

As you can tell I flipped the Sketch around - for some funny reason I don't like to do cards sideways - LOL!!! Anyway - I do love these awesome Scripture Stamps from ODBD, I have been so busy that I rarely have a change to use them anymore, but not today - I made sure I played along!!! After all what a better way to thank the Lord for giving me this artistic talent - *wink*!!

This flower image is from the I'am the Way and the sentiment is from the Sing to the Lord Set.

I inked the flower image twice with Memento Black. The second one was trimmed and colored with Copic/Prisma Markers - Go7, R08 and PM-132.

I also added some piercing to the top and bottom of the DP as well as on the sentiment panel. The Black Satin Ribbon is the same as on my first card. The only other item I used is the Silver Pearls :)!!!!

Thank you for stopping by!!! Have a great day!!!
