Happy Tuesday everyone!!!
Oh my - what a busy weekend we had...my computer had a serious melt down - yikes - it took us a few hours to figure out what was wrong and thank goodness my smart hubby fixed it all!!!
Once again I realized how depended I'm to this lap top :( I think I'm way beyond addicted to this thingy - LOL!!!
Anyway - how about playing along in this weeks Flourishes Timeless Challenge (FTTC29)??? This week Dee Jackson is our challenge host. Dee is challenging us to a Color Challenge - we are to use Red, Olive and Black with one other Neutral Color. So, the skies the limit as long as you use these hues. We look forward to seeing what you create!?!
Here is my take on the colors......
Of course I had to use the brand spankin' newly release *Gerbera Daisies* Set!!!
I'm a little disappointed that my camera did capture the beauty of this image better :( ... I guess all the Glitter I added was too much distraction - LOL!!!
The close up turned out much better..... (click on the photo)!!!
I colored the flowers with the Copic Poppy, Field, Warm Neutrals Collection. The image was actually inked twice and I cut out the center flower and raised it up.
The beautiful Old Olive Taffeta Ribbon I added will be available in the new upcoming SU Holiday Mini Brochure.

After I made my first card I came across the Card Pattern Sketch #28 and thought the gorgeous new Peaches and Cherries Set would look awesome with it!!! What do you think???

Don't forget to stop by Betty, Cindy and Dee's blog to see their cards!!!

As usual these cards are all so very beautiful!! I love the gerbera stamp and must go looking for it. Red, black and white always look striking.
My oh my! These cards are works of art! Love those colors...some of my favorite:))
Both cards are stunning, as always, Silke, but the one with the cherries is my favorite!
Oh my goodness, Silke! Both of these are gorgeous! So elegant looking!
Both are gorgeous, Silke!!! Wonderfu layouts and detailing. Love how you used the same colors, but each card looks totally different!!!
Girl, I don't know how you do it day after day, but your cards somehow just get better and better! I LOVE these colors together and your coloring is amazing, just AMAZING!
Silke your cards are stunning.
WOW, Silke! GORGEOUS cards!! LOVE the gerbera one-that touch of olive ribbon is exquisite!!
Oh, I really do like the design and colors used on the daisy image-so very pretty. Your coloring is great on both cards. tfs
Thud!!! That is my jaw dropping to the floor!! These are both STUNNING Silke!!! Love your designs, coloring and color combos. You always do such a magnificent job!!
Glad your hubby was able to fix your computer. Don't you hate when the computer goes on the blink.
Absolutely breathtaking, my friend!!!! The cherry card is fun, but I must say my favorite is the first one with those Gerbera Daisies. This has always been one of my favorite flowers. You know back in Germany we are able to buy or receive ;P a bouquet of flowers more often than here, because we are so close to the flower capitals of Europe which makes the flowers so much more inexpensive than here, and those Gerbera Daisies last quite some time. Love the color you chose for them as well and thanks for bringing some memory of these wonderful flowers back. Hugs, Sabrina
Two absolute STUNNERS Silke!! Gerberas are my favorite flower, and your cherry card with the black and white grid paper is fabulous!! WOW!!
Love both cards they are elegant and stunning. Had to order these two sets as you designers have used them so beautifully I knew I had to have them. Pat
