OCC, IC206 *Oh come and let us adore him.....*

Happy Saturday!!!

Hope you all are doing well??? It's been a super busy week.....I shopped a lot (some x-mas and som just for me!!!), took a trip with my friend Penny up to Atlanta to meet some stampin' friends.....I will post about this trip tomorrow!!!

My hubby was not feeling well - poor guy was hit hard with some serious allergy attacks!!! Needless to say he was miserable and I took over the Ledlow Fort - LOL!!!

Thank goodness it's weekend and after taking some heavy duty allergy meds my hubby is doing much better too!!!!

Anyway - I know you are here for the OCC Challenge....today Jennifer has created a combo *postcard Sketch/Inspiration* Challenge. You can get inspired by either or!!!

I went with the Sketch.....The front of my postcard looks like this.

The reason I used the beautiful Blessed Christmas Set from Our Daily Bread Designs.....is....it was inspired by the IC206 - Lorelie Kay Designs.

This super gorgeous *red brooch* caught my eye and I decided to use the poinsettia image for it!!! The image was inked in Memento Black and colored with Copic Markers. After coloring the image I added some Pearl Glimmer Mist.

The frame of my postcard was punched out with the new Martha Stewart Scallop 3-Dot Combo Punch.

Here is a picture of the mailing side....very plain, but it serves the purpose!!! I added the lines with a Black Marker....I still have some of the Clear Envelopes and I plan on mailing them this way!!!

Please make sure to check out all the samples over at the OCC Blog!!! I hope we have inspired you to play along!?!?

Enjoy the rest of your weekend and thank you for stopping by!!!

Just gorgeous as always, Silke! The image is so beautifully colored and the sentiment is so bold and crisp. That is so cool the way you made the post card mailing side on the back of your card. Mailing it in a clear envelope is a stroke of genius - love it!
