FS151 Casing Stef, CC251 Thank You

Happy Wednesday everyone!!!

I have two cards to share with you today!!! My first card was for this weeks FS151 - SmilynStef. Not only do I enjoy Stef hosting the Inspiration Challenges each Saturday, but I really enjoy her clever and artistic stampin' style!!!

Not to long ago she made this beautiful card and I had to case it!!!

Here are the changes I made - different layout, I added a different sentiment, at last I added some butterflies and ribbon.

The *Agapanthus Cluster* image is an older Stampendous stamp. I think I bought it at Hobby Lobby!!! The sentiment is from the A Little Birthday Cheer Set from Stampin' Up.

Hope you like it???

******************************************

Next is my card for this weeks CC251 - using Barely Banana, Dusty Durango and Basic Gray.

WOW - what a color combo...I'm in love!!! Who would have known that this combo works sooooo great together...make sure to try it!!!

I finally had a chance to ink up some of my new Stampin' Up Stamps I've bought a few months ago :)!!! I know what a shame...my poor neglected stamps - LOL!!! Now that I have less commitments I hope I get to use some more of my SU stamps :) !!!

I used the beautiful *For All You Do* Set. The layout is from this weeks Sweet Sunday Sketch - SSSC50.

I started out by scoring my card base. Next I added the punched out border and the Urban Oasis DP. I finished it up with the Dusty Durango Ribbon.

The flowers were inked in the CC colors and I cut them out leaving a small white card base. After cutting them out I raised them with Stampin' Dimensionals. At last I inked the sentiment and added another small flower.

Thank you so much for stopping by!!! Make sure to come back tomorrow for a new sweet Valentines card :) !!!

Have a great day!!!

The image was inked in Memento Rich Cocoa and the poinsettia was colored with Copic Markers.

Flourishes Timeless Tuesday - FTTC46!!!

Happy Tuesday!!!

It is time for Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge -FTTC46!!! This week Betty Wright is our host. Betty is challenging us to *stenciling*.

Stenciling is really popular right now in card making. You can use your Spellbinder Templates, stencil a fluffy scalloped sky, or use other stencils either store bought or handmade to add some stenciling to your card this week. Here are a couple of links from SCS to give you a little more insight into stenciling. Tutorial 1 and Tutorial 2. We would love to see what you create!!!!

Here is my take on it......

I used the gorgeous new A Year In Flowers Calendar Set 3. For the layout I used this weeks SFYTT Sketch.

The flower image was inked with Memento Black and colored with these Copic Markers - Holly, Sunflower and Gerber Daisy Collection.

For the stenciling I used this Flower Impressabilities. I adhered the template on both sides with some easy removeable tape and sponged it with Memento Desert Sand Ink. Very easy to do and the outcome is so pretty!!! I think I have to use this technique soon again :) !!!

Please make sure to check out Betty, Cindy, Dee, Kimberly and Makiko's take on this technique!!!

Have fun playing!!!

Maybe this Challenge will help you finish up your last minute gift ideas or cards :) ?!?

I'm still in need of a few Christmas cards and decided to use the fabulous newly released His Gift Set from Our Daily Bread Designs to do so :).

I combined this OCC card with the beautiful MTSC51 Sketch and today's IC210 - SushiPot. I was inspired by the colors of this beautiful pendant!!!

I couldn't help myself but to use Gold Embossing with this fabo poinsettia image....I just love it!!! I found some Gold Design Paper I bought a few years ago....and finally had a chance to match it to this card.

It sure was a busy one.....I had a dermatologist appointment, I finally did some Christmas shopping for the girls teachers, bus driver etc. plus I've been by myself with the girls.... Jerry went on a business trip and thank goodness he is coming home tonight *wink*!!!

Anyway - I was browsing the web the other day and I came across this super cute TLC248 - Stocking Gift Card Holder Challenge. Since I haven't made a *stocking* yet...I thought this would be a perfect little gift idea for my oldest daughter Sarah. It was so easy to make - you should try one too!!! I also combined this stocking with this weeks C4C14 Challenge - Create a Gift Card Holder.

After printing out the template I decorated the stocking with DP, Faux Piercing, Ribbon, Leaves, a Button. Next I added *Sarah's* personalized name tag plus the sentiment inside of the *Gift Card Holder*. I used the beautiful JustRite - Curlz Complete Font Set to complete this whole card. At last I distressed all the edges with the Ranger Tea Dye Ink.

What do you think...isn't it cute???

*************************************

Flourishes Timeless Tuesday - FTTC45 incl. CC248 & SSHP10!!!

Happy Tuesday friend!!!

It is time for Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge - FTTC45 !!! This week Cindy is our challenge host and she is challenging us to create *Gate Fold Cards*- wahoooo - love it!!!

Here are a couple of links to help you get started from SCS Gate Fold 1 and Gate Fold 2. Gate Fold cards are great year round, but something about opening a card from two sides this time of year gives a more regal, gift-like presentation and you already know how much I love them :)!!!

We can't wait to see what your creations!!!

Okay - I let you in on a little secret....silly old me......I didn't read the challenge post right the other day. I read *Fold Cards* and not *GATE Fold Cards*...so I assumed I could do any kind of fold card.....until I realized that it was suppose to be a *GATE* card - yikes!!! So I have two cards to share with you :) !!!

First I'm showing you my *Gate Fold Card*......

I know, I know I used the Winter Bouquet again.....I just can't help myself it called my inky little fingers and I think it's soooooo gorgeous!!! But I must say in my own defense....... I tried really hard not to use it....and as you can see down below I used a different Set on my what supposed to be my first card !!!!

The colors I uses on both cards are River Rock, Purely Pomegranate and White. The images were inked in Memento Black and colored with various Copic Markers (listed down below in the Supply List). At last I bedazzle both cards with lost of Glitter.and Gold Pearls.

I also decorated the inside of my cards...make sure to click on the smaller photos!!!

Here is my *Joy Fold Card*....

I used the gorgeous Christmas Wreath Set.

I followed Beate's tutorial over on SCS. My card size is a bit bigger...I cut it to 5 1/2" by 8 ". Using the longer side I scored it at 5 1/2". The Purely Pomegranate CS in the center is 4" x 4". The White CS with image is 3 3/4'' x 3 3/4".

For the extra White CS border and the image CS I used the new Martha Stewart Punch Around the Page Combo......love them!!!

Please make sure to stop by Betty, Cindy, Dee and Maki's blog to check out all their fabulous creations!!!

Have a wonderful day...and I can't wait to see your cards!!!

As you already know I had the pleasure of meeting her and some other amazing ladies not to long ago...if you like..... you can read about it right here.

Jenny is challenging us to the *12 Days of Christmas Song*....you can find all the details on the OCC Blog. There is also a prize to win this week...so make sure to check it out!!!

I decided to use the *12 drummers drumming* lyric and ran with it!!!

I used the awesome MTSC50 Sketch for my layout and I had to use the gorgeous Drummer Boy Set from Flourishes....it's just perfect for it!!!

Hope you have time to play along this week??? For all the DT Samples please visit the OCC Blog!!!

Here is my card for today's IC209 - Charm Lady Boutique. What an awesome little shop!!!

I was inspired by this Dark Disco Ball Pendant.

For my image I used the gorgeous new Peace & Joy Set from Our Daily Bread Designs.

The smaller snowflake from this Set was inked in Memento Desert Sand. The larger snowflake was inked in Versamark and heat embossed with Copper EP.

To finish the card off I distressed the edges, added the Gold Pearls and the Copper Ribbon.

Thank you for stopping by today.....have a great weekend!!!

Stamper's Dream - JustRite week - Day 4!!!

Happy Thursday everyone!!!

Today is Day 4 of the Stamper's Dream - JustRite week!!! If you didn't have a chance to follow along......then please stop by this post!!!

For today I created another gift idea!!!

As I was walking around Walmart the other night I found this super cute *giftcard box* and since *red* is my favorite color for the holiday season.....I had to grab this sparkly box.

Our oldest daughter Sarah is almost 12 yrs old...and by now she doesn't want me/us to get her anything but *Gift Cards* for her birthday or Christmas!!! Which is fine with me...because I don't have to worry about what to get her anymore - LOL!!! The gift cards are easy to buy and they can be presented anyway you like.... !!! So.... for her upcoming birthday I thought this would be super cute!!!

I used the cute *Wish Big* sentiment from the Just Note - 1 5/8" Borders & Centers Set on the giftbox and on the matching card.

Please make sure to stop by Michelle and Laurie to see their JustRite creations for today!!!

Have a fabulous day!!!
