Flourishes Timeless Tuesday - FTTC47!!!

Howdy friends!!!

How are your Christmas preparations coming along??? I managed to mail out a few cards, got all my wrapping done...now I'm focusing on what I should cook for Christmas Eve??? Any good ideas???

If you haven't gone mad yet with all your preparations...how about joining us for this weeks Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge - FTTC47 ??? Cindy is our host and she is challenging us to create *Artist Trading Cards*!!!

These cute sized trading cards measure *3 1/2" x 2 1/2"* and are perfect for quick last minute cards. You can make a bunch ahead of time..... and all you need to do is add them to a card base. Get creative with these trading cards and join us in the fun! Here is a link from SCS to give you a little more insight into ATC. We would love to see what you create!?!

Here is my ATC......

Here is the complete card with the ATC.....

I used the super cute Love Nest and I Love Roses Set. Both Stamp Sets are perfect for Valentine!!!

The image was inked in Memento Black and colored with these Copic Markers - Dahlia, Fuschia and Holly Collection.

I actually inked the birdies twice and cut out the second one. After coloring I added some Stampin' Dimensionals and raised them up.

I finshed the card off with some Ribbon, Red Scap Floss and the awesome MS Heart Punch.

Make sure to stop by Betty, Cindy and Maki's blog to see their take on the challenge!!!

Thank you for stopping by today!!!

Good morning Silke : )

This is really lovely! I am loving that red-gingham ribbon and that heart border, very pretty....and your lil love-birds are so sweet : )

I also wanted to thank you for the gorgeous Christmas card you sent me....I have shown it to EVERYONE and they all think it's amazing!

We have a tradition for Christmas Eve. I never thought Sloppy-Joe's would be good for Eve dinner, but my Mom suggested it years ago when I had many guests over for a bonfire. Well, it went so well, that now we do it every year. We have fam and friends over for Sloppy-Joe's then the bonfire!

I hope you and your family have a wonderful Christmas!! xoxo ~Cheryl

TY!! I was wondering how to put my ATC to use. NOW I see - mount it on a card! (I have never made an ATC before) Thanks so much for the idea! Love your card naturally! Merry Christmas!!

Not sure if my kids shut this down before my comment got posted so I'm posting again LOL! Great ATC. Love how you incorporated it on the card. The MS border punch is perfect and the scoring on the red panel adds some texture nicely. Gingham ribbon is the perfect finishing touch :D

As for Christmas Eve meal, we celebrate on Christmas Eve so nothing short and sweet from me LOL! However, we do have perogies and garlic sausage on the 23rd quite often and that is a wonderful easy meal -- just a bit on the fattening side but oh so good :D

Have a blessed Christmas!!
