OCC - and a surprise Blog Hop!!!

Happy weekend everyone!!!

We have snow here in the south.......my girls are beyond happy and we all went out last night to have a snowball fight!!! Our little Mimi has never seen snow...and she loved it - LOL!!! Crazy huh???

Today I have a very special card to show you....this card is for our sweet Michelle Rodgers that under went a surgical procedure yesterday...and I hope she is on her way to a quick recovery!!! Please stop by her blog and send her some love as well :) !!!

I combined this card with a few other challenges as well....First today's OCC Challenge....Linda is challenging us to use *something old that is new*!!! Dig down and drag out something that either has never been used or hasn’t been used in a very long time.  Please stop by the OCC Blog to see all the Samples!!!

My next idea came from the Stamp Simply #126 - using the colors Purple & Green!!!

Here is my little project for Michelle.....

The flower image is from the newly release JustRite SetBeautiful Blossoms. The sentiment is from the Flourishes - Sweet Violets Set. Both Set's are available at the Stamper's Dream Store!!!

The item I bought and never used is this aweome little sparkly Ribbon Slider on the right side of my card!!! I have also bought this wonderful Matchbox Bigz XL Sizzix Die and I haven't use it in a long time. I added some chocolate candy......Michelle I hope you like it :) ?!?

Please join us in our Stamper's Dream Team blog hop for Michelle.....Tosh, Carolyn, Denise, Cindy, Amy, Laurie, Becca and Dawn.

Have a wonderful weekend and thank you for stopping by!!! We are off to see Rebecca play in her basketball *Championship* game - wahooo!!!

Beautiful job on the challenge Silke! Love the color combo - I usually don't like purple, but it looks wonderful on your card with the green and yellow. That ribbon slider is beautiful - I can't believe you haven't used it.

So cool that your family got to enjoy a bit of snow. My DD is in school in Tallahassee and they were supposed to get some too, but it didn't happen. She was disappointed - LOL. Have a great weekend!!
