C4C33, CCCC26 and SSSC65 Happy Birthday

Hello sweet stampin' friends!!!

I finally took my first Zumba class last night and I LOVED IT!!! I'm a little sore today, but I guess that's part of working your hips, legs and upper body...LOL!!! I was the OLDEST participant in the class....but the girls & guys (mainly 18 to 22 years olds) were so sweet and made me an awesome compliment...they thought I was in my early 30's  - wahoooo!!! When I told them my *real age* (41)  they couldn't believe it!!! They totally made my night...LOL!!!  I'm looking forward going again on Sunday.

Today I have two cards to share....my first one is for the Curtain Call Challenge #26 - using Basic Gray, Going Gray and Crushed Curry. I really love the chic look of these colors!!!  The layout is from this weeks C4C33 Sketch.

I can't remember what this new SU Set is called, my friend was sweet enough to let me ink it up!!!  I think I'll have to have it....just one more week and the new SU Mini comes out!!!

The second card is for this week Sweet Sunday Sketch #65. Once again I used the colors from the Curtain Call #26.

This is a new Two-Step SU Set called Awash with Flowers. Isn't it neat!?!

I scored the background first and then stamped the image. The DP on the top card and on this card is from the  SU Urban Oasis Collection. I topped this card off with a matching Basic Gray Corduroy Button and some White Scrap Floss that I colored with the Crushed Curry Marker.

I'm also submitting these card to this TSC Wednesday Challenge...the theme is to make a *birthday card*!!! Plus the SSCC#35 - adding flowers to your card!!!

Thank you for stopping by....I have to go and feed my little monsters now!!! Have a wonderful evening!!!

Hugs ~S~

First of all, thank you so much for being such a faithful commenter on my blog. They make my day (((hugs))).

Loving them both, Silke! I love that top card's silhouette stamps - it's calling my name LOL! Great layout and fabulous use of this week's Curtain Call colours (still pinching myself about being on Stacey's DT LOL). The second card is fabulous too. Love the scoring on the white panel. I could be sunk with this set too as flowers are my favorite thing to stamp and though I have lots of flower stamps, always have room for more LOL!

I had a once in a life time stamping day today - actually got the last four Verve challenges done! Oh that I would have multiple days where the mojo is a flowing so freely. Now just have to cross my fingers, toes, legs, arms, eyes and anything else I can find in hopes of winning some free Verve!

Silke!!!! Love the colour combo AGAIN!!!! I have decided that you need to produce a colour combination list of all your favourite combos ... so I can print it out and have it on my desk! I'm sorry ... but I just can't keep them all in my tiny brain!!! LOL! Sweet designs! Hugs, Andrea xxx

Silke, I always love your cards and I an so glad you stopped by SSCC to show us your beautiful creations. BTW, I loved you shaker card and wished that I could have played with Flourishes but I was so swamped.

So glad that those young things thought that you are in your 30's. It seems to go the other way for me as I was hit on by an 80's guy and thought that I was a beautiful lady. Bwaah!!!! that grey hair will do it every time.
