IC229 Happy Mother's Day and MTSC70 Friends

Happy weekend!!!

The weather is once again fabulous here in the South...(sorry for rubbing it in)!!! Mimi and I are getting our hair done today...did I mention Miriam gave herself a little haircut a few days back?!? Well it looks terrible...it's right on the side and I can no longer hide it.....so today she will get a *cool for the pool* haircut!!! It's the second time she has done that and I was a bit mad, because her hair finally started growing longer and now we have to cut at least 3 inches off...yikes!!! Oh well!!! If Mimi let's me I'll show you a photo of her this upcoming week.

I noticed a new Challenge over on SCS called *Queen for a Day* hosted by the fab Mrs. Ann Ryan.....and this week *Cathleen aka ctorina* is the lucky *Queen*!!!  I love Cathleen's cards...she has a very elegant style and of course I couldn't resist playing along. I chose this gorgeous card from her gallery.

I wasn't sure what colors I wanted to use on my card....until I saw the IC229 ~ Green Rainbow Challenge. I saw these super cute Eco-Paints and they reminded me of the SU In-Colors. Well, I really have not used them too often and before some of them retire I figured I better use them a few more times!!!

The flowers are from the SU Vintage Vogue Set. The DP is from the Razzleberry Lemonade Collection. I I used the Top Note Die for the center. The leaves were created with the Sizzix Little Leaves Die and at last I added the Silver Pearls.

*****************************************

Since I had everything out I created another card with the same Stamp Set, DP and changed the sentiment. I used the layout from the MTSC70 Sketch. I combined this card with the WT267 - Mixing Patterns and the TLC269 - Piercing.

The sentiment is from the Friends 24/7 Set. I added the piercing, the Silver Pearls and the Rich Razzleberry Ribbon. Hope you like it???

Here are few more challenges my cards fit to:

ODBDSLC11  ~ Mother's Day
OCC Challenge ~ Blooming Blossoms

Have a wonderful weekend!!! Hugs ~S~

Oh I love both of these. Perfect colors and great paper flowers.

Hey, I noticed you have changed your Google reader feed. How is that? I was thinking of doing that as well, but am afraid lots of people will drop me from their reader. Have you noticed a reduction in comments? And, how did you change the feed?

Thanks Love and have a great weekend!!

Really Really lovely, Silke! Another example of wonderfully inspired colour choice! Had a giggle about Mimi's hair "incident". Have never had that happen with any of my kids ... but I think that might be a bit of a fluke! Hugs, Andrea xxx
