SNTOBD10 I Am The Way plus The Light of the World

Happy Thursday everyone!!!

Hope your weeks is going well??? It's been a bit crazy around here....hubby fractured his foot (poor baby), my Rebecca and our boxer Luke are sharing a birthday this Saturday and we are throwing Becca a *Pool Party*. So lots of planning, baking, cleaning....plus we are decorating some flip-flops and little handbags  for the party. Becca is so excited :) and is helping me to prep for her crafting idea!!! The weather is gonna be awesome too......wahooo!!!!

Anyway, I'm so thrilled that my sweet friend Betty invited me to host today's Stamping in Time on Assignment Challenge - SNTODBD10 over on the ODBD Blog.

The Assignment this week is to create a *LONG CARD* using this Sketch.

I had so much playing I actually made two cards....hope you like them :) !?! Please click on the photos to see them closer!!!

For this card I used the beautiful I Am The Way Set. I stamped the flower image first, using So Saffron Ink. I stamped over it with the wonderful Bible Verse using Memento Black Ink. The So Saffron *Long Card* is from an old SU stash I have held on for ever :). The BG was scored and I pierced in between the top and bottom rows. I finished the card off with some Black/White Gingham Ribbon and added my fav Silver Pearls on the side. I matched the card up with an envelope and finished the inside using the sentiment from the With Deepest Sympathy Set.

*********************************

Using the Light of the World  Set brought a big smile to my face.....it was one of the very first ODBD Sets I have ordered and I'm still loving it!!!

Again, I matched the card up with an envelope and the inside was stamped using the sentiment from the With Heartfelt Sympathy Set. The lighthouse image was inked in Memento Black and colored with Copic Markers. The main panels are done with the Mega Oval Large Nestabilities. The card was finished by adding some scoring, piercing, White Cotton Lace Ribbon and some Black Pearls.

Please stop by the ODBD Blog to find out all the info on how to play along.....plus you could win a prize for playing too :)!!!!

Thank you for stopping by today and I can't wait to see your take on the Sketch!!! Hugs ~S~
