Happy TGIF!!!
I finally had some *me* time. I made two cards...wahooo!!! Not much, but better than none :) !!!
I thought being on summer break would slow things down, but so far, we have been super busy...deep cleaning our house, we watched the new *Shrek the Final Chapter* movie yesterday, hanging out with friends. Poor little Mimi came down with an ear infection and needed some extra attention not to mention my fun night out with hubby!!! Next week my two little ones are starting VBS and I hope I get to have some more *me* time :) !!!
Anyway, my first card is for the CTD95 - using Pink Passion, Green Galore, Tempting Turquoise and Basic Black. The layout is from this weeks FTL95 Sketch.
I used the PTI Turning A New Leaf Set. The sentiment is from the PTI Giga Guide Lines Set. The flowers were punched out with the SU Boho Blossom Punch. I decorated them with some Silver Pearls.
To finish the card off I added the two Buttons on the side and pierced around the card base edges.
***************************************
My second card is for the Curtain Call# 32 using ~ Regal Rose, Summer Sun, Apricot Appeal and Rose Red.
The sentiment is again from the Giga Guide Lines Set and the main image is from the Dot Spot Set. I added an accordion ribbon treatment. I followed the tutorial Renee Van Stralen has on her blog. I definitely have to practice some more...LOL...but I really like the look of it :) !!! This square card measures 5" x 5".
Okay guys...that's it from me...have a fabulous weekend!!! Hugs ~S~

Gorgeous cards Silke! I love the paper piercing on the first card and the colors are soooo pretty!
Hi Silke,
I love both of these cards; darn, I JUST placed another order with PTI and didn't get that spot set; maybe it's a good thing I didn't come to your blog first, or I probably would have! Can I ask where you get your silver pearls; I love them but can't seem to find them anywhere!
Have a great weekend!
Kathy
Both of these are wonderful Silke. They're so clean and simple and beautiful!!!!!
Both cards are fabulous Silke, love your style girl!
These are both GORGEOUS in two completely different ways, yet both are CAS and SO SILKE!!! You totlally nailed both challenges. That perforated border is becoming a Ledlow trademark, and the ribbon treatment on the second card is definitely a keeper. I do so wish I could achieve CAS but you need to STOP, and we both know I'm an OTT (Over the Top) style girl! Your're brilliant!
Silke, these are GORGEOUS!
Gorgeous cards, Silke! I love what you did with the FTL!
You never cease to amaze me with your talent Silke...Both cards are equally beautiful and thanks for sharing that pleated ribbon trick!!
