Before I start....I would like to share my excitement that the fabulous ladies from the C4C Challenge invited me to join their fantastic group!!! I'm beyond thrilled and I'm so happy that I can finally shout it from the roof top...LOL!!!
The August Challenges are brought to you by the super talented Frances Byrne and boy has she thought of a fun idea today!!! Add a *CUPCAKE* to your card...sounds delicious right???
It just so happened that we are invited to two birthday parties this weekend and I was able to make some different cupcake cards....yummy!!!
Here is my first card..........
I used the super sweet Crazy for Cupcakes Set from Stampin' Up. The colors were inspired by this weeks CTD104 ~ using Tangerine Tango, Daffodil Delight and Old Olive. The image itself was inked in Memento Black and colored with various Copic Markers ~ YR02, YR04, YR07, Y15, Y000, Y02, G99, C1 and Colorless Blender. I used a Glue Pen and dotted over the top part of the cupcake and bedazzled them with Dazzling Diamond Glitter. The card was finished off with the sentiment, the Large Scalloped Border on the side, some Olive Satin Ribbon and a matching Button.
Here is my second card.....
For this card I choose the yummy image from Verve Visual called Cupcake Affair. The colors were again inspired by this weeks CTD104 ~ using Tangerine Tango, Daffodil Delight and Old Olive. The DP is from the new SU Greenhouse Gala Collection. The punched flower edges were created with a Martha Stewart Flower Punch and I decorated them with some small Silver Pearls. The *frosting* was done with the Liquid Applique.
