Flourishes Timeless Tuesday!!!

Happy Tuesday everyone!!!

Did you all have a nice weekend??? Ours went by way to toooooo fast!!! I thought I am coming down with a cold, but thank goodness I rested enough and I'm just a little stuffed up.

If you have some time come and join us for this weeks Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge ~ FTTC84!!! Barbara is hosting and she is challenging us to the *SPOTLIGHT TECHNIQUE*!!! Here is a link to a spotlight tutorial  over at SCS. Hope you'll give it a try?!? Remember you do not have to use Flouirshes images to play along, but if you own Flourishes Stamps it would be nice if you would use them :) !!! Can't wait to see your ideas!!!

Here is my take on it..........

I used a little sneak peek from the upcoming September Release!!!  This Set is called Fuchsias in Bloom. I know some of our customers this beautiful Set already thru the Flip Program...but it will be introduced to the rest of the world with this weeks Release. Make sure to follow the Flourishes newsletter!!!

Anyway, I used the layout from this weeks SSS73 Sketch. The colors I used are Kraft, Melon Mambo and Black. The image was inked in Memento Black and colored with Copic Markers ~ V0000, RV19, Y19, G24 and Colorless Blender.  The DP is from the SU Melon Mambo Collection. The card was embellished with some piercing, embossing, some Black Ribbon and a matching Button.

Check out ~ Barbara, Betty, Cindy, Dee and Maki's take on the challenge!!!

My card is also for these challenges:

Gingerloft ~ Anything Goes
Southern Girls ~ Anything Goes
Scrappekammeret # 14 ~ Anything Goes
Timbroscrapmania #10 ~ Anything Goes
Really Reasonable Ribbon's Ramblings ~ Add flower and ribbon
Totally Gorjuss ~ Add flowers

Thank you for stopping by today....hope you come back tomorrow for another card :) !!! Hugs ~S~

Beautiful Silke, as always you have created a lovely and inspiring card.

I'm wondering what you used on your button - the thread. I love the way you were able to form it into curls. Was there something special you did to give it stiffness?

Thanks!
