C4C59 Two cards for you!!!

Happy weekend everyone!!!

I'm glad it's weekend..!!! It's been a long and very busy week!!! One of my sweet co-workers has been hospitalized last week...she has a heart condition and was in very critical standing for a few days. Matter of fact Janice is the person I directly work for....she was so spunky and fun when I first met her...I hope and pray that she'll be her own self again soon!!! Today she underwent two very difficult procedures and made it out okay!!! I think at this point they are trying to keep her staple so they can place her on the heart transplate list!!! If you find it in your heart please say a prayer or two for Janice!!!  Thank you!!!

Thank goodness I only worked half a day today...I was able to calm my nerves with stampin' and created two cards for this weeks Crazy 4 Challenge ~ C4C59. I'm still the challenge host and I'm challenging you all to create a *Fall/Autum* card or project!!! For all the details and on how to play along please stop by the C4C Blog!!! Hope you have time to play along :) !?!

Here is my first card ....a quick CAS idea......

I know, I know...I'm using this tree image again...LOL!!! I just love how the fall colors look with this beautiful Branch Out Set!!! I used Riding Hood Red, Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie, Chocolate Chip and Marigold Morning. The sentiment is from the PTI Falling Leaves Set.  The background was scored and I added a matching Olive Ribbon. The Button is from the new SU Holiday Mini Catalog and I topped it with an SU Antique Brad.

Here is my second card...............

I used the awesome PTI Leaf Prints. The leaves were cut out with the coordinating die set!!!  The sentiment is also from PTI called Fillable Frames #7. It also comes with a matching die!!! The colors I used are ~ Really Rust, Old Olive, More Mustard and Chocolate Chip. The DP is from an older SU stash. I finished the card off with some scoring, some Cotton Laced Ribbon and Gold Pearls.

Don't forget to check out the rest of the Crazy Team  ~ Angela, Barbara, Cindy, Frances, Jessie, Joanne, JoycelynLyndaMaria, Silke K. and Tammy.

Have a wonderful weekend and thank you for saying a prayer for my co-worker!!! I'll be back with my Curtain Call card  tomorrow!!! Hugs  ~S~

Those PTI leaves are calling my name loud and clear...now just need the budget to get them and the dies. They look fabulous on your card and I love all the gold bling. Two stunners :)

Glad to hear your boss made it through the procedures okay....wow! Hugs to you for being there for her!

I will definitely be praying for your friend and co-worker. My husband had a heart transplant three years ago after suffering from heart disease for 13 years. It has been the most awesome thing to experience a healthy, happy husband!
