Flourishes Timeless Tuesday!!!

Happy Tuesday!!!

How was your weekend??? Remember I was telling you about my date with my sweet little Miriam??? Well we had a wonderful time and our Volleyball team won the game...yeah!!! Unfortunately things turned not so fun for my sweet little munchkin...she woke up Sunday morning having the stomach flu!!! I swear this little girl picks up all the funky diseases out there...LOL!!! Thank goodness it was only a 24 hr thingy and she is back to normal today!!!

As I mentioned it's Tuesday and that means it's another Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge ~ FTTC87 going on!!! Cindy is our host today and she has created this fabulous Sketch for us to try!!! As far as sketches goes.....you can turn it, modify the shapes to fit your size card, but in the end, it should still look like the Sketch!!! Have fun playing!!!

Here is my take on it....

Matter of fact I decided to flip the Sketch sideways!!! This card measures 5 1/2" x 5 1/2".
My images are from the Humnming Along Set. The *birthday* sentiment is from the Tag Lines Set. I inked the images in Memento Black and colored them with Copic MarkersG0000, G14, G24, R12, R14, R17, R0000 and Colorless Blender. The DP is from a stash of my SU Riding Hood Red Collection. The border on the side was created with a Large Scallop Die. At the end I embellished the card with some scoring, some Black Satin Ribbon, the Large Black Rhinestones and some Glitter.

Please make sure to check out the rest of the team ~  Barbara, Betty, Cindy, Dee and Maki !!! Remember you DO NOT have to use Flourishes images to play along...just get inky and play along!!!!

My card is also for this weeks ~

Beautiful card, Silke. Sorry to hear about little Miriam - poor kid! We definitely need to figure out a visit - let me know what works for you since you've got the new job. I'm in town all month. Krafty Kats is the 16th and we have a wedding the 23rd, but that's it.
