ODBDSLC48 Grow in Grace ....and more!!!

Happy Saturday again!

We have a fun theme going on at the ODBD Shining Light Challenge ~ ODBDSLC48. Chris challenged us to a "Have a H.E.A.R.T." recipe. You must use three of these ingredients.

                     H= Hemp
                     E= Embossing
                     A=Any Our Daily Bread Images or Sentiments
                     R= Ribbon or lace
                     T= Tearing or distressing

Here is my idea.....my three choices are *Embossing, Ribbon and Distressing*.

I decided to use one of my older ODBD Set called Grow in Grace.  The image was inked in Memento Black and colored with Copic Markers.The background was embossed using a QuicKutz Retro Diamond Folder. I added a Doily, some PTI Berry Sorbet Ribbon, Silver Pearls and a Silver Button with some White Scrap Floss.

Now it's time to check out the rest of the team ~ Sabrina, Chris, Francie and Pat. Please make sure to stop by the ODBDSLC48 post to read on how you can play along as well!!!

Thank you for stopping by today!!! Just in case you missed my C4C card..check it our right HERE!!

Have a wonderful weekend!!! Hugs ~S~

Here are an few other challenges I played as well:

SNTODBD28 ~ Distressing
CCEE1106 ~ Embossing
Simon Says... ~ Show Embossing
Woodware USA #13 ~ Ribbon and/or Bows
Fuzzy Wuzzy #6 ~ Birthday Wishes

Beautiful card! Love the embossing template, the little silver pearls and the beautiful dogwood flower image. Reminds me of my grandpa and how he would put pennies at the bottom of his trees to make the flowers turn rusty pink...
