ODBDSLC49, C4C75, I am the Way....and more!!!

Happy weekend everyone!

We are having fabulous weather here in Georgia. The temps climbed to *81 F* yesterday and we pretty much spend all day outside! Today we are heading to Sarah's *Allstar Tournament* games. We are playing against a few different counties...and my Sarah is very excited to play a few more games before it's all over! She has reached her age limit with her upcoming birthday and won't be able to join her Rec team next year! Kinda bitter sweet for her, but my big girl is ready to move on! She is turning 13 at the end of the month...HELP!  This afternoon I promised my two younger daughters to take them swimming. We have this fun *Splash at the Boro* Indoor Dome where they can wear themselves out!

Anyways, we have a fun challenge going on at the ODBD Shining Light Challenge ~ ODBDSLC49.
We are challenging you to *OVER STAMPING*!!! This means you add an image in the background and stamp a sentiment on top of it.....easy peasy! Come and play with us!!! Please make sure to read all the information on how to play along at the *ODBDSLC49* post!

I also combined my card today with this weeks Crazy 4 Challenges ~ C4C75 ~ *Adding Dies* to your creations. How about playing both challenge??? Swing by the C4C blog for more info!

Here is my idea......

I decided to use one of my favorite ODBD Easter Sets called I am the Way. The Easter Lily was inked in Daffodil Delight and the Bible Verse was inked in Memento Black. My lilies are popping out of the ground too....I'm so excited...Spring is in the Air for sure!!! The Nestie I chose is the from the Lable Ten Collection. The top part of my card was embossed with the QuicKutz Stripes Folder and I added some
So Saffron DP on the bottom. The rest of my card was embellished with a punched out Flower Border, some Black & White Gingham Ribbon, a Black Button, Black Scrap Floss and some Black Pearls.

Before I forget....the layout of my card was inspired by this weeks Clean&Simple #128.

Now it's time to check out the Shining Light Team ~ Sabrina, Chris, Francie and Pat.

Have a fabulous weekend and I hope you get to enjoy some nicer warmer weather too! See you again tomorrow with another card! Hugs ~S~
Here are a few more challenges I played:

ScrapCreations ~ Spring Fever
Charisma Cardsz Challenges #7 ~ Spring has Sprung
Stamp'n Doodle ~ Recipe (Ribbon, Embossing and Bling)
Really Reasonable Ribbon's #18 ~ Spring has Sprung

I love your birthday card - the green ribbon really pops among the orange and you matched the stamp with the ribbon - so pretty. Love it! The weather was playing with us, really nice on Friday and then single digits again - Brrrr! Spring, where are you - lol.
