Hope you are having a good one so far? I'll be chillin' this weekend...and finally enjoying some nice weather again!!! I'm excited to tell you that April is gonna be a fun stampin' month for me and you will see some of the exciting news starting tomorrow!
Today starts a new challenge month over at the Crazy for Challenge blog. Silke Kittman is hosting and she has a fun Sketch for you to try this week. Make sure to swing by the C4C81 post to see all the cards the Crazies have made :) !!!
My card also features the ODBD Shining Light Challenge ~ ODBDSLC55. This weeks challenge is to *Use a bird image, punched bird, or birds on your designer paper*. Have fun playing!
Here is my take on both challenges.....
I used the beautiful Sing to the Lord Set. This was actually one of my very first ODBD Sets I bought and fell in love with....definitely an oldtime favorite!!! The Psalm was inked onto a Spellbinder Die. The DP is from the old SU Groovy Guava Collection. The image itself was inked in Memento Black and colored with these Copic Markers ~ B0000, B00, B02, Y19, YR000, YR00, YR02, YR12. The Border was created with a MS Punch. I added a round doily in the background. The rest of my card was embellished with some scoring, some matching Groovy Guava Ribbon, Glitter, a Button, Silver Pearls and some Silver Cord.
