FTTC127 Bee My Honey.....

Happy Tuesday and welcome to a new Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge ~ FTTC127.

I'm excited to host today's challenge. I found this beautiful inspiration photo from the Crate&Barrel ~ Summerlin Furniture Collection. I hope you like it as much as I do??? I thought the colors are so beautiful together and as you all know by now I love purple! I hope this photo will inspire you to play along??

Here is my idea...

I decided to create a *long card* reflecting the lounge chairs. This card is measuring 3 1/2" x 6 1/2". Of course I couldn't resist showing off the newly released Bee My Honey Set. The main image was inked in Memento Tuxedo Black and colored with these Copic Markers ~ C0, C1, C2, C3, C5, BV00, V17, Y08, YR07, YG11, G21, G24 and Colorless Blender. The rest of my card was embellished with some purple Design Paper, matching Ribbon & Button, a Doily, some Flowers, a punched out scalloped border on top and bottom, some scoring and I finished it off with a tag on the side.

Hope you like it and now I can't wait to see your ideas!!! Please make sure to add your cards to the FTTC127 post over at the Flourishes Blog.

For more inspiration please check out my team mates ideas ~  CindyHeather, Maki, Tammy and Betty. Please make sure to swing by our July Guest Designer Shannon White!!!

Have fun playing along....HUGS ~Silke~

So many lovely comments ... and I am sure mine will get lost ... but wanted to stop by and say hi! The last 3 months have been one of the busiest and most stressful times of my life ...
My dad had a heart attack in April & spent 3 weeks in hospital
My daughter had our first grand daughter while dad was in hospital
then ... we spent 3 weeks settling him into nursing home ...
then he fell and broke his hip ... got pneumonia ... and died 2 weeks later ...
2 weeks after that ... my daughter fell off her motorbike and broke her leg ... 2 weeks full time nursing for me while the swelling went down enough to assess best course of action
At the same time ... my mum had a hip replacement op ...
DD had surgery to insert 33cm nail into her tibia ... another 2 weeks of nursing
My mum is still in hospital 5 weeks after her op ... she has had so many set backs. Everything that could have gone wrong has ... a fracture to her hip ... 3 diff infections ... etc etc etc.
So ... you can see why my blog hopping has been almost non existent.
Life is still busy ... my daughter & hubby are moving house this week ... my other daughter (with broken leg) needs driving to uni ... and my mum is still in hospital ...
I am longing for my life to go back to some sort of normality and routine ... but also know that God has everything in his hands ... and all that has happened is because He has planned it this way.
So ... sorry for the long comment ... I just wanted to explain my absence! Looking forward now to scrolling back through some of your recent posts! Take care, hunny! Hugs xxaxx
