FTTC142 Happy Birthday....

Happy November and happy Timeless Tuesday!

Hope you all had a fun Halloween??? The weather was good enough here that the girls decided to go trick or treating. Our subdivision is filled with little ones, so it's always fun to see every ones Halloween costumes :) !!! Mimi decided to dress up as a * Pink Kitty Cat* , Becca chose to be a *Greek Goddess* and Sarah didn't last long in her short *Snow White* outfit. I'll try to post some pic's soon!!!

We have another fun challenge for you today! Beate is our hostess this week and she has challenged us to try the *OUT OF THE BOX TECHNIQUE*. You can find the step for step instructions over HERE on SCS.

I chose the beautiful Butterflies and Blossoms Set for my card today. My image was inked in Memento Black and colored with these Copic Markers ~ Y15, B000, B00, B02, C3, C5 and Colorless Blender. The DP in the background is from my old SU stash. I embellished the rest of the card with some SU Gray Taffeta Ribbon, Antique Brad and Silver Pearls. The sentiment is from the Sweet Violets Set.

The layout was inspired by this weeks Inkspiration Sketch Challenge #93 and the beautiful color combo from the CR84FN41 Challenge.

Please make sure to check out the rest of the team ~ Cindy, HeatherTammyBeate and Mona.  Please help us welcome our new November Guest Designer Miriam Napier

Thanks for stopping by today.....have fun crafting!!!

                                                                      Hugs, ~Silke~

Here are a few more challenges I entered my card in:

Paper Pretties ~ Usa a sentiment
Sew Many #72 ~ Background Paper (2 different)
Speedy the Cat #79 ~ Use Your Scraps (DP)
Inky Impressions #30 ~ Anything Goes
Sweet Stampin' ~ Anything Goes
Make it Monday #61 ~ Anything Goes
Dream Valley #19 ~ Anything Goes
Come and Get it ~ Anything Goes

Silke, this is so beautiful! I love your coloring, and especially the gray leaves--unexpected color, but so perfect here. The sparkly flower centers are fab, as is that gorgeous butterfly. I hadn't seen this set before--I need to check it out. :) My daughter went as a Greek goddess last night, too--Pandora. There's a photo of her in costume on my blog. Thanks for joining us at CR84FN! ~Hugs, Cheryl

Fabulous card. I've been wondering for ages how this technique is achieved and now, thanks to you, I know. I should have guessed it was a Split Coast technique. Thanks for joining us at Dream Valley. xx
