CQC126 Happy Day....

Hello again,

   Thank you for stopping by to see my Color Q card.

Here are this weeks fabulous CQC126 colors.....

Here is my take on it....

As soon as I saw these colors I knew I wanted to dig out my beautiful SU Branch Out Set. This poor Set hasn't seen any ink in a loooooong time :( , it's one of my favorite Stampin' Up Sets for sure. I decided to add some Burlap Fabric in the background. Then embellished the card with a Doily, some Brown/White Checker Double Ribbon and a matching SU Button.

FTTC158 Strawberries.....yummy!!!

Happy Tuesday!

Today is my sweet Sarah's 14th birthday....I can't believe how much my baby has grown. She is smart, beautiful and a very good girl on top of it! We love you and are so proud of the young lady you have become...HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!!!

Today we have a brand new challenge over on the Flourishes Timeless Tuesday ~ FTTC158. Tammy is our hostess and she has challenged us to create a *COUNTRY* themed card.

I decided to ink up my yummy Strawberries Set. The image was inked in Memento Black and colored with these Copic Markers ~ RV0000, RV00, R14, R17, R27, YG11, G12, G24, Y08, Y15 and Colorless Blender. Next I added the Red/White Checker Ribbon, a matching SU Button with some Red Scrapper's Floss.

I even had some time to stamp...this card is for this weeks Crazy 4 Challenge ~C4C125. The theme is to create a *2 LAYERED CARD*...no cheating...LOL!!! Please make sure to stop by the C4C Blog to see all the ideas the team had.

I opted for the PTI Years of Flowers - Gladiolus Stamp Set that hasn't seen any love in a long, long time. The image was inked in Memento Black and colored with Copic Markers. Next I punched the corners with a Corner Adorner, added the Ribbon and the Silver Pearls...voila!

OLA99 With Sympathy...

Hello my sweet stampin' friends!

I'm came down with a nasty little head cold this weekend and as you can imagine I feel like crap :(

My Guest Designer gig with Ooh La La Creations is coming to an end today, and thank goodness I created this card last week, or otherwise I would have been card less. The OLA99 Challenge theme this week is this beautiful inspiration photo......

Here is my idea.....

As you can tell this is very simple and the image from the Toppers 2 from the As With Gladness Collection makes the card. The sentiment is from the PTI Botanical Silhouette Set. Next I added the SU Taffeta Ribbon, the SU matching Button and the Scrapper's Floss...voila!

C4C124 Thank Heaven....

Happy weekend!

Unfortunately I have to work out off town this weekend, but managed to post this card prior to my departure :) !!! Can you guess who it's for??? Yes, I made it for my co-worker Megan and family! Just in case you missed my prior post...Megan just welcomed her 4th daughter....sweet little Elizabeth Ann...on Valentine's Day.

Anyway, this weeks Crazy 4 Challenges ~ C4C124 theme made it easy to create my card for her. Joycelyn has challenged us to....make a card or project using *STRIPES & POLKA DOTS*.

Here is my idea.....

Before I get started, I would like to point out that we have a fabulous sponsor this week....check  them out - *The Ribbon Carousel*. Of course the fabulous owner Corinna McGregor has provided us with some fabbo Ribbons from her store and I'm featuring two different kinds - 1" Pink Sheer Tinsel Edge & 3/4" Pink V Striped Ribbon.

The super duper sweet image is from the PTI Hanging Out Set. The Polka Dotted DP in the background is from SU and I added some scored Stripes along the other side. Next I embellished the Ribbon with a matching PTI Button plus some Scrapper's Floss and some Silver Pearls...voila!

ODBD Alumni Border Blog Hop - CHECK IT OUT!!!

It's an awesome week so far...can't complain with Valentine in it plus my co-worker Megan (we are sharing the office) just had her 4th baby girl - sweet little Elizabeth - she arrived on V-day...so fun! God is so good, she is a perfect little healthly munchkin and super cute of course :) !!!

Today, I'm excited to share a new Our Daily Bread Designs card. It's time for our Alumni Team's bi-monthly *For the Love Blog Hop*. This week the Alumni team along with some of the ODBD designers are featuring a hop for the Love of ODBD Borders and Frames!

I have the pleasure of showing off the beautiful Fleur De Lis Border Set and the Bible Verse is from the Scripture Collection 6 Set. The images were stamped onto the ODBD Tag Die. The background was embossed with the SU Striped Embossing Folder and I layered it with some leftover SU Design Paper. Next I embellished my card with the PTI Stitched Smokey Shadow Ribbon, a matching SU Button, some White Scrapper's Floss, the Flowers & Leaves plus the Silver Pearls.

CQC124 For You....

Howdy again...hope your day started great???

Here are the colors for this weeks Color Q Challenge #124.....so fun and happy!

Here is my take on it.....

I went for a almost no stamping card :) !!! The sentiment is from the Fillable Frames #5 Set. The hearts where created with the PTI Heart Prints Die. I embossed them both with different EP Folders - Dotted and Heart - not to forget the Framed Tulips and added the Flourished ZVA Pearls in the background. Next I added the Cotton Lace Ribbon, a matching Caribbean Ribbon with a SU Rose embellishment and the Halfback Pearls.

FTTC156 From The Heart....

Happy Valentine's Day!

Hope all you love birds out there have something fun planned today :) ??? I took the day off to hang out with my hubby and girls....yeah! My girls are on *Winter* break this week and this way I get to spend a little extra time with them :) !!!

Anyway, if you dont' have anything going on, come and hang out with us over at the Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge ~ FTTC156 for a new challenge theme!!! Beate is our hostess this week and she has challenged us to create a card for a *LOVED ONE* and please make sure to add *SOME RED* to your project!!!

Here is my idea....

I couldn't resist using the From The Heart Set again. The heart was inked in Memento Tuxedo Black and I colored it with these Copic Markers ~ RV000, R000, R00 and R02. The Basic Gray and Real Read DP are from SU. Next I added the Pink Ribbon and a matching Button with the Scrapper' Floss as well as the Doily and the Silver Pearls.

I will not reveal whom my card will go to....I know this person is reading my blog :) !!! I finally inked up my PTI Anniversary Botanical Silhouettes Set. The image was inked in SU Pear Pizzazz, Poppy Parade, Daffodil Delight, Peach Parfait and Concord Crush. The embossed background was created with the SU SAB Stripes Embossing Folder. Next I added the Striped Ribbon, the SU Button with some Red Scrapper's Floss and the Silver Pearls.

CQC123 Just Because....

Hello again!

Here is my card for this weeks Color Q Challenge # 123. We have some awesome colors for you to try....

Here is my take on the colors.....

I couldn't decide what set to use and finally settled for the PTI Life Set. The images were stamped randomly with the required colors and then I stamped the sentiment from the PTI Giga Guide Lines. Next I embellished my card with the SU Poppy Parade Ribbon, a Button with some matching Red Scrapper's Floss as well as some Silver Pearls.

FTTC155 Seize The Day....

It's time for a new Flourishes Timeless Tuesday ~ FTTC155. Maki is our hostess this week and she has challenged us to create a project using a *BIRD IMAGE/OR ELEMENT*.


Here is my take on it....

I decided to pull out one of my silhouette images from the Sweet Days of Summer. Very quick and easy card :) !!! I added some Kraft CS and some DP scrap, plus the Large Striped Ribbon with the Black Button and the Silver Cord,  at last I added the Silver Pearls.

OLA98 Happy Valentine....and some pictures!!!

It's time for a new Oh la la Challenge ~ OLA98. The theme this week is *BE MY VALENTINE*.

Here is my idea....

My main image is from the Oh la la Heart Lovers Toppers 1. Such a cute silhouette image and it's so easy to add to any project. The background was embossed with the Love Language Embossing Folder. I added a Doily, some SU DP scraps, the Black/White Grosgrain Ribbon, a matching Button with some Black Scrapper's Floss, the Flowers and the Heart Pins.

C4C122 The Mighty Sea....

Happy weekend!

I'm on my way to a Stamp Show in the Atlanta area....yeah! I'm looking forward to meeting Kelley Holland - the owner of Our Daily Bread Designs - and a few other ladies that are helping Kelley at the ODBD booth. Hopefully we'll get some quality picture time...so I can show them off here on my blog.

Anyway, it's time for a new theme over at the Crazy 4 Challenges ~ C4C122. Lynda is our February host and she has challenged us to create a project with *MAKE A SCENE*. Check out the C4C blog for all the details and of course the fabbo cards the *Crazies* have created!

Here is my idea.....

 

Talking about ODBD ....I decided to show off the newly released ODBD Stamp Set called The Mighty Sea. Isn't it awesome?!? It totally reminds me of our beaches here in Georgia :) !!! Of course I wanted the image to speak for itself and kept my design clean and simple. To add a little more interest I added some scoring and some piercing in the background. The Ribbon is from the SU Baja Breeze Collection and I topped it off with a matching SU Button, Silver Cord, Glitter and the Silver Pearls.

My card features the beautiful Bible Verse from Nehemiah 8:10 that can be found on the Scripture 6 Collection. As you can tell I've kept my design clean and simple.....I decided to emboss my card with the SU Framed Tulips Folder. Next I added the Cotton Lace, the Zva Pearls Flourish and the Flowers.
