It's kind of bittersweet that I'm not posting an official Flourishes Timeless Tuesday card anymore ...sniff..., but I'm excited to start showing off some of the new fabulous Flourishes July Releases next week!!!
I also want to thank everyone that took the time to play my FTTC175 this past week...I loved every card and it was really fun to see your favorite goodies!!! THANK YOU!!!
Anyway, before I show you my card I would like to tell you about the Flourishes Retirement Party!!!
It's soon to be so long, farewell to some of Flourishes oldies but goodies! With a new crop of stamps coming out and plenty planned in the coming months, we need to scale back to make room on our shelves for the new designs! What does that mean? It means once these retiring stamps are gone, they will be GONE forever! So, stock up now before they vanish! Just click HERE to see if one of the sets on your wish list is up for retirement and then.... snatch it up while you can!
Of course I took the liberty to make a card with one one of these retiring sets and combined it with this weeks Color Q Colors ~ CQC144....
Here is my take on it........
This sweet set is called ~ Angelic Love. Matter of fact, I made this one for a very special friend ~ my BFF ~ can't wait till she receives it :) ...I always adored the darling sentiment that I inked inside the card!!! The sentiment was inked onto the Tailor-Made Classic Tags Die.
The Design Paper is from the My Mind's Eye Howdy Doodle Collection. Next I added some *scoring* in the background and started to embellish my card with a Doily, some Jeans Ruffles from an older Flourishes 1-2-3 Create Kit and then I topped it off with some Satin Ribbon, a Red Button, some Scrapper's Floss and Silver Pearls.
