CQC147 A Happy Hello....

Happy Tuesday!

Hope you all had a great weekend??? We had Rebecca and Miriam's bedrooms painted this weekend. They are fighting like cats and dogs lately.....and it was time to separate them...wink!!! Does that sound familiar to you??? They were sharing a Jack & Jill setting and we had to place them each into another corner of the house. Lots of work, but hopefully this will solve some of the issue :) ?!?

Other then that we went shopping for school stuff...yeah...our girls are going back to school August, 1st. Needless to say Jerry and I are sooooooooo ready to have a routine in our house again!!!

I did have some precious crafting time and created this card......

My card was inspired by this weeks Color Q 147...check out this color palette.....

My card came together by inking up the newly release Flourishes Passion Flower Set onto some Flourishes Classic White CS using Memento Tuxedo Black. The image was then colored with these Copic Markers ~ YG11, YG13, YG17, G12, G24, R81, R83, R85 and Colorless Blender. The sentiment is from another Flourishes Set called Medallion Motif. Next I embossed the second layer with an SU Embossing Folder and added the Baja Breeze DP along with the matching Ribbon, a Button & White Scrapper's Floss and some Silver Pearls.

Please make sure to check out the Color Q Blog for all the beautiful ideas the team has created and of course all the entries for this week as well!

Have a great week and thank you so much for swinging by today!!!

                                                                  Hugs, ~Silke~

Silke what a beautiful card. Love the mix of colors.

Oh to be young again...my older sister and I fought like cats and dogs. I remember her getting mad and dragging me across the floor and in the process the carpet got ripped up. We were in big trouble!! School is a good thing!

Have a good week.

What a beautiful card! Oh yeah, I remember those days. Glad they are over. Boy, August 1 is early! Our kids go back on the 20th

Love the embossed border and your colouring is fabulous :) Great take on this week's colours.

Glad the girls have their own space and hopefully a way to help them get their "space" from each other :) Lucky you with school starting shortly! We don't start up until after Labour Day. Thankfully swimming lessons take up a lot of the slack in the schedule and mommy gets to swim laps and fight the flab factor while they are in their lessons so it's a win win :)
