Distressed Poppies.....

Happy TGIF!

I hope you are looking forward to this weekend as much as I do?!? It was a fun week, but I need some *me* time again...wink!!! I don't think I mentioned that our oldest daughter Sarah made the Volleyball team at her High School. It's their first season ever and they already winning 4 to1. Sarah has waited a long time to have a Volleyball team at her school and she could not be happier!!!

Anyway, I have a new card for you....the Senior Design Team is showing off the beautiful Poppy Patch Set today.

My card came together by stamping the straight flower image three times with Memento Tuxedo Black onto the Flourishes Classic White CS. The Poppies were colored with these Copic Markers ~ R14, R17, Y08, G14 and Colorless Blender. Next, I stamped the sentiment. Then I tore the CS on top and distressed the edges. I also added a double line of piercing on top, along with some beautiful Red Sheer Line Edge Ribbon, a Button and some Floss. At last I added the Kaiser Pearls.

I also combined my card with the Catered Crop - No stress to Distress - Recipe Swap. If you have followed my blog, then you know already how much I love that technique!!!

HERE and HERE are some another edge distressed cards I recently made.

Don't forget there is still time to play the Banner Challenge, Add Some Sprinkles to this Celebration and the Time for A Colorful Celebration!!! These challenges are open until August 31 at 5 PM EST!!!

Now it's time to check out the rest of the team....
