Flourishes Birthday Wishes Celebration

Happy TGIF!!!

I'm so excited to tell you that we are celebrating the 5th Birthday of the Flourishes Blog/Store this month! We have lots going on next week, so stay tuned and make sure to start following us over on the Flourishes Blog!!! You will have the opportunity to win the entire August Release!!!

I must admit I loved Flourishes right from the start and I'm so happy & blessed to be with them for almost 4 years now! I bet you'll think I'm crazy.....I still have the original e-mail message from Julie inviting me to become part of the Flourishes team.....I still remember that I almost passed out...LOL...and then I did the *HAPPY DANCE*... the rest is history!!!

The Design Team has created some fun *Birthday* ideas and I hope you will enjoy their creations?!? Of course  you will have the chance to play along as well, check out the details on the bottom of this post!!!

Here is my birthday gift idea.....As you can tell I was inspired by the fun colors of the of the birthday photo. The *cake* image is from the beautiful Flourishes Let them Eat Cake Set. I also added some scoring in the background and I embellished the card with the yummy May Arts Two Tone Light Blue Ribbon, along with a Button, Black Jute Twine, and some Kaiser Pearls.

My little gift card bag came together super quickly too......

I used the Flourishes Country Charm Labels Set along with the sentiment from the Botanical Bookplates Volume 1 Set. Next I created the little pocket for the gift card inside and taped it together with some Scor-Tape (that tape is awesome!!!). Next, I added the little punched out flowers and embellished them with the White Kaiser Pearls. The yummy May Arts Two Tone Light Blue Ribbon tied it all together!

HOW TO PLAY: This challenge is going to be super duper easy peasy. Why? All you need to do is create a birthday creation. It could be a card, a tag, a 3-D object, ANYTHING! As long as it celebrates a birthday, you'll be in the running! Please remember, entries must be in by August 10th at 5PM EST to be eligible. If you upload to Splitcoaststampers, please use the key word FLLCAUG12. And, don’t forget to link up your creation over at the Flourishes Blog using the Inlinkz link widget. Use Flourishes stamps if you have them — Flourishes entries will be counted twice! But, if you don’t have Flourishes, play along anyway, you could WIN some!
