Flourishes November Release DAY 2!!!

Hello and welcome to Day 2 of the Flourishes November Release Sneak Peek!!!

Today we have the cutest Stamp Set EVER!!! I know you will love it too :) !!! So grab a cup of coffee/tea and check out what the Senior Design Team has created!!!

Whether it's sewing, quilting, knitting or cross stitch - this stitched for you stamp set is sure to share that whimsical charm in your cards or creations. Use this set to send warm well wishes or for tags on your handmade stitched creations. This sweet set illustrated by Marcella Hawley measures 4" by 6".

Here is my take on it.............

I couldn't help myself ...but I had to get crafty and create a sewing basket along with a card!!! I'll start out with my card....the card base is from the Flourishes Classic Ivory CS. My second layer was scored on top and I also added some Design Paper from our new November 123 Create Kit - For the Record (which will be available for purchase on Thursday) below. The Ribbons and the super cute charm are also included in this new 123 Create Kit - For the Record. If you click on the card picture you can tell that the charm was attached with the Kraft Jute Twine. The sentiment and the main image were inked in Memento Tuxedo Black and colored with these Copic Markers ~ YG11, G82, Y21, R14, R17, YR01. At last I embellished the card with a Doily, a matching Button and some Black Kaiser Rhinestones.

My sweet little basket was also created with the same Design Paper from the November 123 Create Kit - For the Record. My pin cushion was created with some old SU Fabric. I decided to stuff it with a Sponge and tied it on the bottom before I decorated it with some Needles. Next I filled the basket with some more sewing goodies and the cutest Measurement Tape Ribbon that also comes in the 123 Create Kit! LOVE IT!!! At last I added the small sentiment from the Stitched for You Set onto the matching Tailor-Made Classic Tag and added the Kraft Jute Twine on top.

I saw this sweet basket tutorial a few months ago at Rachel Ricks Blog and totally fell in love with it!!!

Here is the November 123 Create Kit - For the Record...it's loaded with lots of fabulous goodies!!! You will see more card/project samples as you stop by the team members.
