Ornamassortment

YEAHHH, I made a card!!!

My baby girl is taking a nap and I escaped to make a card...I was browsing thru my older x-mas stamps and found this one called "Ornamassortment".

I thought I'll try to incooperate it with the Holiday Glitz
Cardstock. The Season Greeting wording I picked up at Archivers about 2 years ago....so I don't know who made it.

Click on the card and you'll see that I added Dazzling Diamond Glitter on the Ornaments and around the White Cardstock...I really like it!!!

Thank you for looking....

Hello everybody,

You are probably wondering what's going on with me this week....well, let me tell you it's been
a busy one!!!

I was in charge of our 1st Neigborhood "Halloween Bash" which was held in the late afternoon yesterday and it was a great success!!!

We had so much fun...the kids and some of the parents dressed up. My oldest Sarah was "Hannah Montana", Becca was a "Bride", Mimi was "Belle" and I was dressed up as a "Witch" !!! I'm sharing a couple of the pictures we made yesterday - I hope you'll enjoy them....

Anyway, there was just so much going on ....I had to finish Mimi's treat bags for preschool plus my girls godfather came and spend some time with us plus I held a workshop on "How to stamp on candles" so you get my point - no time for me!!!

Hopefully this week will be a little better - I do need my therapy - please be patient and keep checking!!!

Have a fun Halloween and I'll talk to you soon.......~Silke~

Happy Thanksgiving

This is another card with the "Lovely as a Tree"
Set....

The Satin Ribbons from SU are so pretty and elegant.

I think the Ribbon gives this card the perfect look!!!

What do you think???

Lovely as a Tree

I always liked this set....but never had a chance
to stamp with it.....I think it's one of the first set's I bought many years ago...How crazy is that???

Well, I was browsing the SCS site and I found a beautiful card made by "Atomicbutterfly". She had embossed the trees with Copper EP and it's gorgeous!!!

Anyway, I used different CS. My selection was
Chocolate Chip, Wild Wasabi, So Saffron and
Very Vanilla...I also used Copper EP.

If you click on the picture you will see that I used the "Weathered" BG stamp and I colored the background of the trees with Blue Bayou for the sky and for the grass I used Wild Wasabi plus a touch of Chocolate Chip.
The brads are also Copper.

So Much Greeting

Okay, I hope you don't get tired of this "So Much"
set...This will be my last!!! I promise....

I had to try this color combo....plus I'm really hooked
on this set - lol!!!

Anyway I had it on my mind and I had to do it....

I used Wild Wasabi Textured CS, So Saffron and Purley Pomegranate.

If you have not put these colors next to each other please try it.....they go together so beautifully.

I'll try to get cured now....see you later!!!

Drop me a line and let me know if you like the color combo???

So Much Flowers

This is another card I have made with the
"So Much" stamp set....

I really love the Wild Wasabi CS and the
Marigold Morning CS together - it's a great
combo!!!

Anyway, I was laying in bed last night and I was thinking about cards - lol - suddenly I had this design in my head and since everybody already had fallen a sleep I went upstairs and worked on this card.....

What do you think - was it worth staying up late???

Fall Treats

This is a picture close up.....
The treats bags are a great idea for your workshops
or just a quick thank you for Thanksgiving presents
etc....
I have the measurements on my next picture just
scroll down....
Thanks for looking!!!

Fall Treats

I made some treat bags for the fall.
They are very easy to make....you only need
some cellophane bags.
These bags are the small ones from SU.

The cards are cut 4" x 3 1/8" and scored at 2" on the 4" side.
Stamp your favorite image and fill with treats. I stapled the sides together and added the ribbon -that's it!!! I love treat bags - yum, yum!!!

So Much

Everybody knows that Faith Hofrichter aka
"markiesmom" on Splitcoaststampers is a
super card creator!!! She was recently selected
to be on the Innovative Stamp Creation's Design Team.....how wonderful is that???
http://innovativestampcreations.blogspot.com/

Anyway I'm a big fan of Faith's....

I absolutely love this card she made
with the "So Much" Stamp Set. Actually
she made a couple different ones and all of them are beautiful...but this one I thought I could take on.

I changed the colors to Wild Wasabi, Basic Black
and Marigold Morning (last years In Color) and this is the finished card. The card looks much better in person...the camera does not do justice....

I just want to thank Faith for inspiring us with her beautiful, breathtaking cards!!!

Faith's blog is under my favorites to find - go and check her out. Thank's for looking.

Holiday Glitz

This is my last card for today. For this one I used "The Snowflake Spot" stamp set.

What I like about this new offer is that
you can purchase the kit without buying a new stamp set - just use what you already have - and the nice thing is everything is already precut
plus you get the envelopes, the rhinestones etc.

If you have not made your christmas cards yet
this is definitely the kit for your holiday project!!!

Find out more at http://www.stampinup.com/

Let me know what you think about my cards....Feedback is always welcome!!!

Holiday Glitz

Here is another card with the "Holiday Glitz"
kit....for this card I used the "Snow Burst"
stamp set.

As I mentioned earlier I exchanged the DSP
that was in the package with the Winter Bright DSP....I also added the DS Ribbon to the project.

Hope you like it???

Holiday Glitz

I'm back....my girls are back to school and
I have time to stamp again - YEAH!!!

I finally had time to play with my
"Holiday Glitz" special and of course I had to
tweak it a little bit....

I used the Winter Bright DSP instead of the DSP
that came with the special. As always I love to add
some sparkle...and I used the clear gemstones
from Hero Arts. The DS Wild Wasabi Ribbon was
the last piece I added.

I also like the original designs from SU but I just wanted to
show you what else you can do with it.....

Hope you like it??? Thanks for visiting my blog!!!

Fab Flowers

Allright, I treated myself to another
present - lol!!!

Well, my birtday comes around only once a
year.....I could not resist!!!

I got the idea from http://justgivemestamps.typepad.com/. Her card is so beautiful....please go and browse in her
blog.

Anyway, what can I say - I just love this set!!!

Thanks for looking.....

Cuttlebug Embossing

Okay, I had to play some more
with my new
Cuttlebug.....

I just love all those templates
and of course my
"Prima" flowers!

So what do you think of those
cards???

Feedback is always appreciated....

Cuttlebug Embossing

This is my Birthday present to myself.
Of course I could not wait any longer....
So I made this first card with it.

I have a lot of Prima flowers that
I have to use up....this card is actually for
a wedding for my DH's coworker this
weekend....I hope she will like it???

What do you think???

Trick or Treat

My daughter Sarah dressed up as
a "Glamour Witch" last year....

Tried to use the beautiful
Halloween DSP from SU to make
a 6x6 Scrappage. I attached the
"Batty For You" tag with a
rubberband and then
I tied the ribbon around the band.

Hope you like it....

Baby Journal

I 've made this a while back
for a workshop
"All about Babies".

I think it's a neat idea for a
Mommy to be as she could write
down all her thoughts for the
new baby.....

Thanks for looking!!!
