Anni-VERSE-sary Cards!!!

Hey you all - I'm back into my stampin' groove!!!

I finally have my life back - LOL!!! The girls had their first day of school today - YEEAAHHH!!!

After all the traveling, entertaining and getting ready for school this past week - I really needed some serious *stampin' therapy*!!!

Can you tell how desperate I was - I have finished four cards...and a project for the ISC that I'll be sharing with you soon!!!

Yesterday afternoon when the girls took a nap I went to my craft room and looked at all the fun Sketches Julee Tilman has cooked up for her Anni-VERSE-sary Celebration!!!

This card is actually Sketch # 4 and I have used all Verve Stamps - Serenity and Heartfelt Phrases. The colors for this card are - Regal Rose, Basic Gray, Wild Wasabi and Whisper White.

Hope you like it???

Here is card Sketch # 3 and you can tell I have used my favorite new *In Color* Tangerine Tango with Wild Wasabi and Whisper White.

Again I have used a Verve Stamp from the *Floral Whimsy* Set.

To dress this card up a bit I have added some Silver Brads and the DS Wild Wasabi Ribbon from SU. Plus I have punched out some flowers and added them on each side of the sentiment.

*************************************************

This card is Sketch # 2 and I really like the simplicity of it!!!

I have used - Soft Sky, Rose Red, Chocolate Chip and Whisper White CS for this card.

The Ribbon is from Martha Stewart and matches the Soft Sky perfectly....

I have used another wonderful Verse Stamp from the *Plain Jane* Collection and I love this Psalm!!!

*Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart.* ~Psalm 37:4

***************************************

Julee has started out with this wonderful Sketch # 1. Isn't it fun???

I have used - Groovy Guava, Wild Wasabi, Close to Cocoa and Whisper White CS.

For the main image I have used the *Floral Whimsy* Set from Verve. The flowers were colored with a Blender Pen using Purely Pomegranate, Wild Wasabi and the Sahara Sand Marker. The vase was inked in Close to Cocoa. I always like to add the Scrappers Floss from Karen Foster to the vase....

I have dressed the card up with some Silver Pearls from Michael's and the DS Groovy Guava Ribbon from SU.

Hope you like the cards???

All the cards can be found on SCS under the Verve Visual Site!!! Hope you will have time to play along???

Love all the cards! I'm very drawn to using white in my cards as well -- think it is mainly because it helps me not have to match too many papers - LOL :)

I must also say that I jealous re: your kids back in school. I've got 4 more weeks to go and with all the summer activities etc. very little time to stamp. I'm living vicariously through your joy right now!
