FTTC17 Swing by; CC220,TLC222 Great Friend

Hey everyone!!!

Today is another fun Flourishes Timeless Tuesday!!! This week we are introducing our first Flourishes Guest Challenge Host Connie McCotter!!!

Thanks so much Connie for hosting this week!!! Connie is challenging us to *sponging*. Sponge coloring, sponge distressing, sponge shading, and sponge stenciling to name a few are some of the hottest techniques in stamping. So, grab you ink pad and sponges and add a little sponging to your card. We can't wait to see what you'll create!!!

I basically got carried away with my sponging project - LOL!!! I used the image from the Flourishes Set - Swing Set!!!

I inked the image in Memento Black and started sponging the clouds around it with the Baja Breeze Ink. For the inside of the tree I used Kiwi Kiss. The tree branch, the girl and the flowers were colored with Copic Markers - E47, RV19, and R08.

The CS in the BG is Raspberry Fizz from PTI - I scored it in 1/8" intervals. Next I decorated the card with the matching Ribbon and some Silver Pearls!!!

Hope you'll play along?!? Please use *FTTC17* as your keyword to download your creations over on SCS!!!

Please swing by Betty, Cindy, Connie and Kimberly's blog to see what they have created!!! For all the other details please stop by the Flourishes Newsletter!!!

Here is my submission for todays CC220 - So Saffron, Bashful Blue and Pumpkin Pie - and yesterday's TLC222 - Hinged Card.

I have never made a *Hinged Card* before, but I really like how it turned out...if you haven't tried it yet - give it a go - you will like it too :)!!!

For this card I used the beautiful SU Great Friend Set which is featured in the Occasion Mini Catalog (page 5).

The Bashful Blue DP from the SAB Delicate Dots Collection. The So Saffron Ribbon was also from the SAB Ribbon Bundle. I hope SU will bring it into the new Catalog :) ??? Oh - I'm so counting the days for the new Catalog - how about you???

I added a small Filigree Brad on the left side fro the hinged effect. Next I decorated the card with some scoring and I added some small Silver Pearls between it. The Punch is also from SU - Scalloped Edge.

Hope you like it?!? Thank you for stopping by!!!
