SD Banner of Joy and FTL60

Happy TGIF you all!!!

Oh my new flooring is beautiful and it makes the room look so much bigger!!! It was worth all the action that comes along with this transitions- LOL!!!

Well, I told you yesterday that some of my stampin' didn't turn out as planned...I redid some of the projects and here is what I created.

Both cards are from the same Penny Black - Banner of Joy Set that is available at Stamper's Dreams.

For the first card I used the FTL60 Sketch. As you can tell I turned it into a bigger square sized card - it measures 5 1/2" x 5 1/2.

The Christmas ornament was inked in Versamark and embossed with Black Embossing Powder. Pretty straight forward take on the Sketch!!!!

***********************************************

Next is the card that gave me a headache - LOL!!!

Okay - here is what I was trying to do....I thought I'd go ahead and do the *Cracked Glass* technique....as I was adding the Versamark and the Embossing Powder several times in a row....I tried to *crack it * and it just wouldn't.......I was sooooo mad!!! After I gave up I decided it was time for me to clean up and head to bed. Well, as I was cleaning I looked at the EP Container and discovered that I was using the wrong Embossing Powder - duh - no wonder it would crack - LOL!!! I used Clear EP instead of the Glassy Glaze Enamel...I guess I wasn't thinking straight - LOL!!!

So I was cutting my loses and decided to make it a more *vintage* looking card!!!

The Design Paper is from the Ski Slope Collection. I stamped the *angel* first with Tuxedo Memento Black Ink.

Next I colored it with several different Copic Markers. Then I added the Versamark & the Crystal Clear (wrong EP - he,he,he) and repeated this step several times. After the image cooled off I bended it a few times and tried to achieve the *vintage* look.

Next I distressed the edges of the DP and the card base using this Antique Linen Ink Pad.

At last I added the sentiment using Memento Black Ink, the Antique Brass Jumbo Eyelets with the Red Rhinestone Brads inside.

Hope you like the cards???

Be sure to stop by later in the evening as I'm showing off another project for a Blog Hop :) !!!

Have a great day and hope to see you later!?!?
