A gorgeous RAK

Hello my sweet stampin' friends!!!

Sorry I don't have a card for you today...I'm busy getting my house ready so we can list it next week!!! Plus I'm trying to stamp for a few upcoming events!!! Do you all watch the Olympics...??? I'm trying to watch it while I'm doing all my other motherly duties  - LOL!!!

I do have a super gorgeous RAK my sweet friend Carol Southern send me!!! I was blown away by the fabulous details....!!! Carol my sweet friend *thank you* so much for sending me this card!!! It's truly amazing and I love it so much!!!



Isn't it amazing??? I'm not even sure what you call this technique...but I would love to try this for myself!!!

I've seen this technique demonstrated at Craft shows and thinks its absolutely gorgeous!!!

Oh, I didn't think it was going to be shown on the blog. A bit of a shock for me. Thanks so much anyhow Silke and thank you everyone for your lovely comments.

It's known as Parchment craft, and yes Pergamano is actually a brand of tools books etc, but a lot of people seem to call this craft Pergamano craft. Lots of info on the web on this craft.

Pergamano is perfection in parchment!

Parchment Craft is an ancient craft that is being revived. I have done some of this and the finished product is always beautiful. Hmmm, I need to drag out my stash and revisit this craft.

The card is truly a work of art! It is Pergamano or as some call it, Parchment. It is much more difficult than you might think. I should know since I have been trying to teach myself this craft for about a year! I still haven't make anything I would allow out of my craft room! Carol is an absolute artist in the truest sense! Beautiful and you must be very special to have received this gift.

WOW! This is drop-dead gorgeous. What an amazing card. I purchased a Pergamano kit, but I have been afraid to try it. It looks so difficult, but this makes it all worth while. The detail is fantastic! It is stunningly beautiful and look so elegant and formal.
