Curtain Call Act 53 Gifts of the Earth

Hello stampin' friends!!!

Hope you are enjoying your weekend??? My day was filled with lots of fun things. I turned in my birthday Spa treatment this morning....I had a facial and a wonderful back massage....I'm totally rejuvenated!!! Becca, Mimi and I treated ourselves to a Pedicure later in the afternoon. Hubby and I just returned from the movie theaters a few hours ago, watching the new RED flick with my old time favorite movie star Bruce Willis!!! He is getting even more sexier in age...*wink*!!!  Anyway...it's definitely a must see movie...fun, fun, fun!!!

As promised I have my Curtain Call card ready to show you!!! As always, Stacey knows how to make a great color combo...check it out!!!

Even though these a fun *Halloween* colors, I wanted to go a different route. I'm in  need of a few more *Thanksgiving* cards and I started with this one.

The image I used is from last years Gift of the Earth Set by Stampin' Up. I inked it in Memento Black and colored it with the required colors using my Copic Markers ~ Y15, Y17, YR07, YR18, C0, C2, C3, C5 plus Colorless Blender.  The Daffodil DP is from the SU Greenhouse Gala Collection and the Pumpkin DP is actually from the SU Halloween Ghostly Greetings Collection. As you can tell I added some *faux stitching* using a White Gel-Pen. I dressed the card up with some Black Satin Ribbon, a matching Black Button and of course I had to add the Silver Pearls again!!!!

Please make sure to check out the fun ideas the Curtain Call Team has created with this color combo ~

Christina MacLaren ~ Seaglass & Sentiments
                                     Jean Martin ~ Stampin' Scrapper

I love how you used these colors for a Thanksgiving card!! I'm all done with my Halloween cards and need Thanksgiving ones now, too, so that's the route I would go with these as well. Such a crisp card--I love that harvest-y scene :) Glad you enjoyed your spa time!
