FTTC90 Sunflower, SSCC62 Think Pink and more!!!

Happy Tuesday!!!

How was your weekend??? Ours went by quickly....is it just me or does time fly by faster these days???

Since it's already the last Tuesday of the month, the Flourishes Timeless Tuesday ~ FTTC90 has invited a Guest Designer!!! Please help us welcome the fabulous Mrs. Linda Coughlin. Linda and I had the pleasure of being on another Design Team together and I'm so thrilled to have her host today's challenge!!!
Here is what Linda is challenging us to *ANYTHING GOES BUT BUTTONS AND BOWS*...love how that rhymes...LOL!!! Okay everyone, get all of your other embellishments out and show us what you have stored in your drawers all this time!!! Have fun :) and I can't wait to see your ideas!!!

I have actually two different cards for you today. My first card was inspired by the Embellished Vintage Color Challenge ~ Green, Yellow and Rust.

As soon as I saw these colors I immediately wanted to grab my gorgeous Flourishes Sunflowers Set. I did make it *vintage*, but my photograph kinda took away the entire look :(..... I promise I ink distressed, edge distressed and made it look *old*!!!

Here is some more info about my card ~ I used Dusty Durango for the *Rust*. The DP is from the PinkPaislee Bayberry Cottage Collection. For my embellishments I used some matching Rust Ribbon, a Small Paper Doily, some Lace Ribbon, some Halfback Pearls and some Copper Hardware. I also pierced around the edges, tore a bit of the DP in the upper right hand corner plus I added some Glitter on the Sunflower...voila!!!

Please don't forget to stop by ~  Barbara, Betty, Cindy, Dee , Maki and Linda's blog to see their ideas on this weeks FTTC90 challenge!!!

My card is also for these challenges ~

Stampin' Royalty #42 ~ Ribbons, Ribbon, Ribbons
Daring Cardmakers ~ Autumn Leaves
One Stitch At A Time #36 ~ Anything Goes

******************************************************************

My second card is also created with a Flourishes Set that is dear to my heart ~ Think Pink - Fight like a Girl !!!

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness I decided to play the fun challenge over at the Stampin' Sisters in Christ Challenge #62 ~ use a Pink Ribbon and primarily the color Pink on your card!!! The colors on my card are also for this weeks ODBDSLC34 ~ using Kraft, Black plus one other color (Pink)!!! The layout is from this weeks MMSC76 Sketch.

I kept this card pretty simple, since I wanted the focus on the super cute shirt!!! The DP is from an old SU Stash. I added some White Cotton Lace, some piercing, scoring and finished it off with the Pearls in the corners!!!

Breast Cancer Awareness is so important ladies and gentlemen!!! Please go to your yearly check up!!!

Thank you for swinging by today!!! Have a fabulous week??? Hugs ~S~
