We are having fabulous fall weather down here in Georgia. It's in the lower 60's during the day and it cooling off pretty quickly once the sun is setting. Nevertheless we are enjoying these beautiful sunny days!
I was mentioning in my previous post that the Ledlow girls planned on making their *1st Gingerbread House* EVER this weekend and they DID!!! The girls had soooooooo much fun and I'm happy to show you their sweet creation right after I show you my Curtain Call card!!!
Stacey challenged us to another gorgeous Color Combo Act 56...here it is!!!
Here is my idea.....
I was in need of a birthday card, since it was my Father-In-Law's birthday yesterday. I totally suck at *masculine* cards and tried my very best not to make it tooooo *girly*!!! Today's colors really help me not to go down that path and I created a more *fall* looking card.
The leaf images are from the PTI Set Leaf Prints. The sentiment is from the PTI Giga Guide Lines Set and it was inked onto the Fillable Frame #5 Die. I added some Brown Pearls and piercing around the main image and voila my card was done!
Please make sure to check out the ideas the Curtain Call Team has created ~
Christina MacLaren ~ Seaglass & Sentiments
Jean Martin ~ Stampin' Scrapper
Julie Lacey ~ Stamps & Taxes
Laurel Seabrook ~ Seabrook Designs
Makiko Jones ~ MakInk Studio

and don't forget our wonderful new November Guest Designer, Marlene Peters ~ Hands On.
Okay and now the girls 1st ever *Gingerbread House*.....
I think it turned out super cute, don't you think so??? Can you tell *gingerbread man* had a little accident and broke his leg...LOL?!? I think we definitely have to try another one next year!!! Hope you all get a chance to make one too?!?
Have a great day and I'll see you again on Tuesday!!! Hugs ~Silke~

Love those leaves - another set you are enabling me on! Can you enable my budget too LOL! Great use of the colours.
Loving the gingerbread house. Kids and I make one every year and it is a blast to see them get creative. Now you just have to see how long it lasts :)
love the card, and the gingerbread house looks so yummy!
Oh, I totally LOVE this! You are the master of clean white background with gorgeous hits of color, and of course that simple but brilliant pierced frame. Fantastic job with these colors, Silke!
I love those autumn leaves on your pretty card, and the gingerbread house is awesome! My mom always bought one for us, so making one had to be a super fun family project for you! Well done!!
A gorgeous card girl, you nailed it! And now on to that yummy gingerbread house . . . .is it still there or has it been completely consumed? . . . LOL . . . . it wouldn't last long in my house . . . just look at all that yummy icing . . . oh Mylanta . . . . I could eat it all!
WOW! Silke! I have this stamp set and haven't used it to it's full capacity! This is just gorgeous! And that gingerbread house....YUMMMM!!! :)
Fabulous card, not too girly at all.
LOVING the gingerbread house! The wreath is adorable and I love all the little 'extra' bits of snow in various places!
As for the gingerbread man, they should make up a story about how this is his chalet in the Alps and he broke it skiing the Matterhorn! He seems to have injured his left eye in the accident, too. Apparently gingerbread men get white eyes, not black eyes!! Too funny! They did a fabulous job! Enjoy your day and this gorgeous weather!
Love...Love...sry this is short, I was making Christmas presents last night and my X-acto slipped and just about cut the tip of one of my fingers off...OUCH...cleaning up the red stuff was the worst...did not know that kind of slip could "splurt" all over the room...LOL...have I made you sick yet? I guess that was too much information...I'm still laughing tho :)
So pretty Silke. Love the leaf images... your paper piercing is perfect! I've never made a bg house... yours look great. :o)
